Avery Office Products Review and Giveaway!

6:09 AM

***GIVEAWAY CLOSED***

I have a college degree in Administrative Assisting and was out in the workforce until just a few months before my daughter was born. Being a secretary, I was constantly doing projects for the owner of the company. She was very particular and exact when it came to her mailing and I remember one time I had to type out pages of personal address labels for her. I mean...it was EVERYONE from her personal address book. It had to be perfect or I had to do it over. Perfection right down to the spacing and text size. It was soo tedious!!! Sending personal mail has become so sophisticated...I am really glad that I can type everything on the computer and in a click of a button have all my address labels ready to stick on envelopes.
This next company is really handy when it comes to creating your own labels for personal use. Avery is an office supply company that takes care of making sure we have up to date and useful products when it comes to organizing and simplifying our lives. I am always a huge fan of things that keep me organized as I am not naturally an organized person. :)
I am doing this review as part of The Organization of Moms which was just started in June of 2010. Here is a bit more about that program...

Avery Dennison Office Products has unveiled a new online community dedicated to helping busy moms get more organized. Found on Facebook, The Organization of Moms will featuring time-saving tips to help make life easier. "Every mom says, 'if I only had more time in the day'," said Joyce Munoz, group manager, Digital Marketing, Avery Dennison Office Products. "Our goal is to provide a forum for moms to connect with each other and share useful, time-saving tips to help them better organize their lives."

Avery Dennison Office Products has partnered with global digital marketing agency iCrossing to launch a connected social media strategy to support the Avery Organization of Moms. In addition to the Facebook community, program components include mobile, creative and display advertising to connect with moms across all digital channels.
When I visited Avery's website, I was seriously overwhelmed at just how HUGE this company is. The products and services that are offered by Avery are outstanding. Really. When I am trying to print something and am having difficulty, I want to be able to find answers...being a mom, I usually don't have time to wait-I need an answer NOW. Avery is there, all the time with answers to my questions.
For this review, I was sent several packets of samples of Avery products to try. I was also sent a super cute tote bag...very nice! I am probably going to use it for a "gotta make a quick run to the store but don't feel like bring the HUGE diaper bag" bag as it is the perfect size for diapers and a juice cup. :)
The Avery Easy Peel Clear Address Labels are great! These labels are see through which makes them multi-purpose in function. I made all return address labels out of these and they will look very nice on different colored envelopes. Another great item that I was sent were the Avery File Folder Labels with TrueBlock Technology. The reason these are so great is because you can use them to re-create your file folders. Just place them over the old writing and voila! You will not be able to see the writing underneath! Along the line of using the Avery products with the TrueBlock Technology are the Avery Shipping Labels with TrueBlock Technology. I love to re-use boxes for shipping. The only problem I have (you have probably had the same issue) is how do you remove the old shipping label without destroying the box? These great shipping labels are just placed over the old label and creates a brand new label that you cannot see through. I am also loving the Avery Removable Label Pads. These can be used to label jars, canisters, bins, etc without worrying that they will fall off. They can be permanent once an adhesive strip is removed. So, all you do is write, peel and stick!Another great product from Avery are the Avery Notetabs. With this product, you can just write directly on the tab...which is nice.
So, in my opinion...Avery is an amazing company! I have always like them, even before this review and know that I can count on them to give me the best when it comes to creating my own mailing and organizational supplies. I am in love with these labels and think that they are really great! As a mom, I truly appreciate the desire that Avery has to make my life easier!
