***GIVEAWAY CLOSED***
When I talk about my skin I most often refer to my hands and face. However, I always seem to forget about one of the most neglected areas of skin on my body. MY FEET. I know...not a hot topic with alot of people out there. But lets face it; our feet take a real beating. They are the first to hit the floor in the morning and the last to be lifted into bed at the end of the night. We spend a ton of time on them each and every day...sometimes hours on end! Alot of people dislike their feet and I can totally understand that as I have seen some pretty interesting feet in my day. :) However, just because we don't like our feet does NOT mean we should ignore the care and maintenance of them. I am one who loves to polish my toenails. I also treat myself to a pedicure every great once in awhile. I am not ashamed of my feet and there is no need for you to be either!!
Tropical Traditions has become a regular company here on my blog, and they have some wonderful options when it comes to foods. I was really happy to see that they also pay very close attention to beauty and our personal care needs. Today, I am going to introduce you to their Skin Exfoliator and the pure LOVE that you can show your feet when you use it!
Here is a little bit more about the Tropical Traditions Skin Exfoliator...
In addition to using only the best oils available for the skin, all other ingredients used in Tropical Traditions Skin Exfoliators are 100% natural. Our hand-made Exfoliators contain no alcohols, no artificial fragrances, and no petroleum products. Because we recognize that many have sensitivities to fragrances, we offer an unscented version. For the varieties that are scented, we only use high quality organic essential oils imported from France which are distilled with low temperature and low pressure over an extended period of time. Low temperature and lower pressure have proven to be the most effective method of obtaining all of the essential constituents from the plant, and provide our products with the very best quality fragrances available.
Exfoliating smoothes the skin, unclogs pores, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
I was unsure what to expect in this exfoliator as I have tried many and know that they usually dry my skin out somewhat. So, for this review I was sent a container of Tropical Traditions Skin Exfoliator in the Citrus-Mint scent.
First of all I am going to talk about the scent. Wow. This is a very refreshing and invigorating scent...especially when the hot water hits it! The ingredients of this exfoliator has alot to do with this and I can actually READ all the ingredients! Here is the list:
Sea salt, organic macadamia nut oil, organic jojoba, organic virgin coconut oil, organic virgin palm oil, and organic essential oils of orange, spearmint, lemon and peppermint.
The combination of citrus essential oils and the mint essential oils is amazing. I took the whole tub into the shower with me and began my pampering session.
First, I stuck my finger into the center of the tub and stirred the contents as there was alot of oil on the surface. Stirring it mixed it up nicely. Then, I put some of the exfoliator into my hand and rubbed it onto my feet; focusing on my heels and the highly calloused areas. I hate how my heels get cracked and calloused...so they definitely need some T.L.C. By the way, not only can you use this on your feet, you can use it on your whole body too!
One thing I will say here is that be very careful when you are using this in the shower. It makes the surface of your shower floor slippery. So, make sure you rinse off really well and use caution.
After using this Skin Exfoliator, my feet felt AMAZING. I could not believe how soft my skin turned out. If you are looking to have a spa treatment in your very own home, why not try out Tropical Traditions Skin Exfoliator. The cost of this exfoliator is $11.99 and you get a nice sized tub to use.
So, in my opinion...Tropical Traditions Skin Exfoliator in the Citrus-Mint scent is wonderful. My feet feel like they have been pampered like never before. I love how smooth my skin is and how this product softened my callouses. Therefore, I would gladly and whole-heartedly recommend this to anyone who has a pair of feet that need some extra love and attention.
Tropical Traditions has graciously offered to give away a tub of this Skin Exfoliator to one of my readers. I am so excited to be able to share this will all of you! Here are your entry options...
