Holiday Gift Guide ~ Fill a Need This Season Through World Vision's Gift Catalog {Giveaway}
8:38 AMI try every day to remind my children of how fortunate they are to live in America. We truly have need of nothing. When I was younger, my mom would always tell me to eat everything on my plate because there were children somewhere in the world who had nothing to eat and would give anything to have just a bite of what I was going to throw out. It sounds silly but it is so very true. When I went on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic, we visited villages that were so poor, they had no indoor plumbing. Their toilet was a hole in the ground with metal sheeting propped around it for privacy. These people who live in poverty-stricken countries deserve so much and yet are thankful with so little. I am going to present an opportunity to you that will give you and your family a chance to make an impact in someone's life...in another part of the world.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.We serve close to 100 million people in nearly 100 countries around the world.
World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.Wherever we work, our prayer is that our efforts will be used by God to heal and strengthen people’s relationships with Him and with one another. We do this by demonstrating God’s unconditional love for all people through our service to the poor — which includes providing for daily needs, working to build peace and promote justice, and partnering with churches and individuals to encourage spiritual transformation.
