I have been a fan of Purex laundry detergent for a long time now. You just cannot beat the way it works and the wonderful way your laundry smells after using it. Since I have been using Purex, I have become a huge fan of their Crystals, baby detergent and also their Triple Action detergents. Being a mom of 3 busy little ones, it is no wonder I need a lot of detergent on hand. Now that Isaac is eating solids, his clothes seem to be the worst. Oh, and lets not forget that it is spring time outside and I have a BOY who LOVES mud. Ahem...you should have seen him when he came in from playing outside today. He literally SAT in a puddle. Yep. I love my Purex!
Today, I am going to introduce you to a new Purex detergent and this one is absolutely wonderful! Purex plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance is the newest member of the Purex line and because I am already a huge fan of this brand, I was really excited to hear about this Crystals/Detergent combo! Before I continue though, here is a bit more about this detergent...
So, for this review I was sent a full-sized bottle of Purex plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance detergent. This bottle arrived on a day when I had some laundry to do so I got right to work!
One of the first things I noticed about this detergent was that it was cloudy in appearance, which is what softener looks like. The color was the same blue that I am used to seeing though.
You can use Purex Crystals to make this detergent even more fragrant but for the sake of this review, I left out my crystals for this particular load of laundry. I wanted to see just how strong this detergent smelled by itself before I added the extra fragrance of the Crystals. Ok, I will say here that the detergent smells really nice. However, I was a bit disappointed that my clothes did not smell like I thought they would. They smelled clean and fresh, but there was very little fragrance to them.
I am not sure why this was, but it could have had something to do with the fact that I had an extra rinse cycle with this particular load because the washer was having an attitude. Even though it didn't smell exactly as I thought it would, I still LOVED how my laundry turned out. Soft, fluffy and fresh. Purex still is my favorite detergent and this newest member of the Purex family will definitely be used here in my house.
So, would three of you like to try out this newest detergent from Purex? I have three coupons to give away to three of you! Here are your entry options...
