VTech Go! Go! Smart Animals Tree House Hideaway Playset Review & Giveaway
3:30 PM
Ok, so are you aware that the more children you have, the more toys you accumulate???? When I had one child, I had a good amount of toys. As our number of children has increased over the years, so has the number of our toys. Hubby and I recently went through all of the toys and filled two large storage bins with toys and put them in our basement for storage. Even after that, we still had a good amount of toys. However, it is inevitable. When you have children, you have to assume that you will have a gazillion toys. My children LOVE getting new toys and I love to see them get new toys because it means they will be occupied for a long time with something new to play with. :) This is a good thing.
VTech toys have always been a favorite around here. They are educational, fun and hold my children's attention for a long time. I appreciate the fact that VTech strives to teach, while allowing the child to have fun at the same time. Here's a bit more about this company...
So, recently I was asked if I wanted to review another cool toy from VTech and of course, I said yes!
So, for this review I was sent the new VTech Go! Go! Smart Animals Tree House Hideaway Playset! I made the mistake of telling my children that I got a new toy to review and they bugged and pestered me to get it out for several days before I actually got it out. Gaah. Lesson learned.
Have I ever mentioned that I hate assembling toys?? LOL! This toy comes needing to be assembled, and looks intimidating when you dump all the pieces out but isn't difficult to put together at all. I was relieved to see that there were only a few screws! I think it took me about 10 minutes to assemble, which isn't bad compared to some toys I have had to assemble.
This particular VTech Go! Go! Smart Animals Tree House Hideaway Playset came with the panda and this panda talks and says different things depending on where it is positioned on the treehouse. The one thing I LOVE about the panda is that there is an on/off switch so you can turn it The tree house on top of the toy is a shape sorter, which is loads of fun! There is a triangle, a square and a circle that your child can drop through the tree house and they are deposited down at the bottom of the tree house after they go down a slide.
As soon as I had this toy set up, my children were so excited to play with it! There is a crank elevator that the panda can sit on and my kids loved making the elevator go up an down. The panda can also go down the slide and as it hits certain points on the slide, it sings or says a phrase.
Here, you can see my daughter putting the panda on the telescope lookout! Like I said before, each station that the panda sits on/rides on triggers the panda to say or sing something.
Each one of my children had so much fun playing with this new Tree House Hideaway Playset. There was so much that they could do and the only problem we had was that there was only one panda and three children. That problem can be easily rectified as there are SmartPoint animals that we can purchase that would go nicely with this set...which is nice. For now though, the panda will have to do and the children will have to do some sharing.
So, this Go! Go! Smart Animals Tree House Hideaway Playset and other neat playsets are available for purchase directly from VTech's website and this particular set retails for $29.99. My children had a blast playing with this treehouse and it really brought out some creativity in their play as well.
