As I grow older, I start to wish I didn't have to count my birthdays anymore. HAHA! My cakes start to look like the one pictured above and my hair gets little silver streaks in it. My daughter walked around church today telling everyone that it was my birthday and how old I was. Soooo embarrassing cute of her to do that for me. LOL!

Birthdays can be depressing, however, I had a FANTASTIC one this year. It started Friday night when we had a baby sitter for the children and hubby took me to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner. Yeah...those Blooming Onions are so evil. I ate way too much of that. Then, on Saturday evening we went to my parent's house to celebrate again. My dad gave me a super cool bird feeder that he is going to put up outside, and I also received some lovely cards and well wishes. This morning before church, hubby gave me a really sweet birthday card and presented me with some luscious Russell Stover Chocolates. Then, at church today, my entire church sang "Happy Birthday" to me and I again received some gifts and cards. After my family and I had our afternoon naps, we headed out to Pizza Hut for some Stuffed Crust Pizza, breadsticks .
I even got some FREE Chocolate Dunkers in honor of my birthday. They are amazing. :) When we finished there, we headed over to our brand new super Walmart and picked up a Red Velvet Birthday Cake to enjoy tomorrow after our dinner.

So, to say that I had a wonderful birthday is an understatement. I have been blessed beyond my imagination with an amazing family, a God Who cares enough about me to bless me with these gifts and another year full of surprises, bumps and hopefully, not too many bruises. :)
