Treats International Snacks Subscription Box Review

Hello everyone! I apologize for the delay in posts around here. Life with four children and homeschooling on top of everything makes for VERY busy days for me. I love to blog and write reviews and miss the days when I was able to be more faithful at it. Anyway, what better way to start off my posting once again than by talking about snacking!?! We LOVE snacks here in my home and my children would snack all day long if I let them. Have you ever heard of a subscription box? Basically, you subscribe to a company that sends you a box of products monthly. It could be beauty supplies, foods, coffee, and other things. Well, I have never tried a subscription box service before so I was in for a real "treat" with the company I am going to introduce you to today. :)

Treats is a company that provides monthly subscription boxes for international treats! As a subscriber, each month you receive a box containing snacks from a different country in the world. How cool is that? Being that we homeschool, this would make for some awesome unit study materials. How better to show your students the foods that other countries produce than to have the foods right there in your classroom?? As both a mom and a teacher, I love this idea! Before I continue on with my review, here is a bit more information about Treats...

Treats is a subscription service for international snacks. Every month send you a box of snacks from a different country! You can expect to receive snacks from candy to crackers to chips to cookies to chocolate and more. We include all types of snacks in our box with the exception of drinks.  Each month's box will feature snacks from a different country in the world. The country you'll receive is a secret until you receive the box! The snacks you will receive in your box will remain a secret until you receive the box. But don't worry, your box will include an information card that provides the names of all the snacks inside of your box. Subscription plans are offered on a month-to-month basis. 

I was contacted by Treats recently and they asked if I would like to check out a box of goodies and of course, I said yes.

So, for this review I was sent a Treats box and my children were very anxious to check it out...as was I. Upon opening my box, I discovered that my snack selection came from Japan. How fun! We recently had a missionary family visit our church and they are Americans who have been living in Japan for many years now. It was nice to see these snacks and be able to remember some of the things we learned about Japan from our missionary friends.

To be honest, I was a bit intimidated by the Japanese writing on the packaging but that intimidation quickly disappeared when I saw the card that explained what everything was. This card is SUPER helpful...I like to know what I am eating and this helps to translate the packaging labels.

I was really impressed with the large assortment of snacks that my box contained. When you order subscription boxes from Treats, you can choose from two different sized boxes. The "Standard Pack" contains 4 to 5 international snacks, and the "Premium Pack" contains 8 to 10 international snacks. So, if you are a big snacker, you will want to go with the larger box. If you snack like a bird, then you might want to stick with the smaller box. :) We would definitely need a large box here.

My daughter was up while the other children were napping so she got the privilege of helping me review this box of goodies. She was more than willing to help. :) We dove right in and first, we enjoyed the Pocky Strawberry Sticks. Wow, these were really really good. We also enjoyed some gummies and cola flavored chews. There is so much to see and enjoy, our box is definitely being put to good use here.

If you would like to check them out, I am sure you won't be disappointed. I love how easy it is to get a nice box of snacks and think that it is awesome that you can sample snacks from so many different parts of the world too!

I would definitely recommend this snack subscription company to anyone...it is wonderful and my family enjoys the snacks.
