We just cannot say enough about how we love Purex laundry detergent. I am sort of a brand-loyal type of person and since I was introduced to Purex, I never really use anything else. Their detergent does the job I need done and with three children, my laundry demands and needs are pretty high. It doesn't really matter what I am washing, Purex always does the job well for us.
I am not a HUGE fan of laundry pods but when I get the opportunity to review them, I am once again reminded of the reasons I enjoy using them. The detergent is pre-measured and there is no mess of measuring liquid/powdered detergent into a cap. If you use liquid detergent you are well aware of the blobs and drips of detergent that end up on the washing machine and even the floor around the washing machine. Yeah...it is NOT pretty. That is one of the reasons I do enjoy using laundry pods on occasion. I am pleased to announce that there is yet another new member to the Purex family and it is called Purex UltraPacks plus Oxi! Purex has combined the convenience of UltraPacks with the stain removing power of Oxi to give you these powerful little packs that will refresh, renew and treat the everyday stains on your laundry.
For this review, I was pleased to have been sent a package of Purex UltraPacks plus Oxi to try and share my experience with you. The bag I was sent contains 18 packets, which will work for 18 loads. If you have an extra dirty load or a larger load, you can use two packs per load. Typically though, you will only need one packet.
These are small packets that are greenish/blue in color and please keep in mind that you only want to handle these with dry hands as any moisture will dissolve the protective covering. Also, keep these away from children as they could pose a swallowing hazard. Always good to keep these types of things away from children anyway. I will add here that these detergent capsules smell really great!
To use these pods, simple toss them into your washing machine and then add your laundry. They dissolve on their own and it is that simple. No fuss, no mess...just clean laundry! Purex UltraPacks plus Oxi pods work to remove stains, which is something I deal with on a regular basis around here. :) My laundry turned out smelling super fresh and also, some spots on the clothing had disappeared. I love it when I don't have to pre-treat stains in order for them to come out completely.
Personally, I think that the Purex UltraPacks plus Oxi are a fantastic addition to my Purex laundry collection. I use all Purex products, as you can see and am thrilled to have these new pods to use.
Now, I would like to tell you about a special Purex Find the Red Football Jersey and Win Sweepstakes that is being held to celebrate the new release of Purex UltraPacks plus Oxi!
