Cate and Levi Review

Going out to the mail box these days sure is fun!!! It's always over-flowing with goodies for me to review and giveaway!!! I do feel bad for my mailman though...poor guy must wonder what is going on in my house!

Anyway, today I have another really nice eco-friendly, organic and child-oriented company to review and their products are SO cute!

Cate and Levi is a company that is based in Toronto, Canada...not too far from my place! Their company offers truly unique children's products~everything from clothing to hand puppets, wall art to pillows and stuffed animals. And you know what the best part is? It's all made from all natural and reclaimed materials. WOW! If you are looking for an organic company for gifts or for your own home, look no further.

Josh Title is the owner of Cate and Levi and began this amazing company due to the lack of resposibly made, one-of-a-kind and beautifully designed products for children. This happened while he and his wife were awaiting the birth of their first child. Here is a little more about this unique and innovative company...

The Cate & Levi Collection is HANDMADE at my studio in Toronto, Canada. Together with my talented production team, I oversee every aspect of this collection. All the materials are sourced as close to home as possible. This process cuts down on shipping and reduces our carbon footprint. The choice of reclaimed wool reduces demand for new materials that require both water and oil for production. My goal is for these items to leave the softest possible pawprint on our planet.

No two Cate & Levi products will ever be the same. Each one is made from reclaimed wool whose colors and textures are individually selected. Not only is this process environmentally responsible, but it ensures that each animal is truly a one of a kind creation never to be duplicated. Each item is as unique as the child who adopts it.

It is important for me to set a good example for my child, to work in a highly creative and responsible fashion, and to produce long lasting items that can be today's plaything and tomorrow's keepsake. I am building a company my family can be proud of. Ten percent of my profits will be donated to funds that help children in need.

When they say that no two Cate and Levi products are the same, they are right! When I was looking at their website, I was amazed at the variety, simplicity and originality that greeted me by each product. I am especially in love with the Hippo Pillow Pal...isn't she adorable????

Cate and Levi sent me a Crocodile, 100% Organic Cotton T-shirt for my little man. He is not quite big enough to wear it but will definitely be sporting it once he is able! The feel of this material is wonderful...it's not scratchy or stiff, but soft and comfortable. If you have children, you know how important this is when it comes to choosing clothing for them. Especially if they are super-sensitive to certain materials. No worries here!!!
