I am the type of person (strange as it may sound) that likes to wash dishes. To me, it is a relaxing activity that helps me to clear my head and clean at the same time. Yes, I am strange. I remember when I was a teenager, standing at my parent's kitchen sink at 11:00 PM washing dishes because I was stressed out. Well, I have a product that I have reviewed that has made my dish washing experience even better!!!
Ecover is a company that offers a very unique line of household and personal products that are based on plant and mineral ingredients. I had never heard of such a thing. We all do our very best to use what IS best for our families, but it isn't easy! Ecover solves that problem. Their whole mindset is to practice what they preach...being earth-conscious and environmentally sound. Ecover's slogan is "Powered By Nature" and that is exactly the process through which their products are made.
Ecover sent me their Grapefruit and Green Tea Dishwashing Liquid for review. I was not sure what I would be getting as all dish washing liquids are so different...I wasn't prepared for what I received!!! Of course, on the day it arrived, I had a sink full of dirty dishes. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work! One of the first things that I noticed was the scent. As I have said in previous reviews, I am not a lover of strong-scented products. I do not like to be overwhelmed by a smell. The scent of this dish soap was BEAUTIFUL.
It was light and smelled herbal and citrusy (is that a word???) at the same time. The other thing that I loved is that it was frothy and bubbly. I like bubbles when I do dishes...don't ask me why...I just do! The dish soap (that will remain nameless) that I was using before Ecover's came just didn't cut it. It didn't suds and I needed so much to do so few dishes. 
The Grapefruit and Green Tea Dishwashing Liquid really goes a long way. You don't need much. One of it's ingredients, Green Tea, is a natural deodorizer so it helps with especially pungent odors. I had fish sticks today for lunch and once I washed my dishes, you could not smell it anymore. So not only does it deodorize your dishes, it deodorizes your kitchen to! Talk about multi-tasking!!!

I had an extremely busy day recently and found myself rushing out the door to run an errand...leaving my sink full. When I arrived home, my hubby surprised me by doing all the dishes while I was gone. You know what he said? He told me that "that dish washing 'stuff'" was really nice and that it was very 'soft' on his hands. Ladies, ANYTHING that gets the hubbster to do the dishes is worth investing in!!!
