There are so many fun things to do in the summer time. Our family loves to spend time taking walks and now that our children are a bit bigger, we have discovered hiking. Small nature trails in our area make for wonderful hikes and our children love to climb and learn all about nature. Another favorite thing that we love to do is go to the local park. There is one in particular that is an elementary school playground and they have a huge field on which the children can run and play. It's like having a huge backyard with no boundaries. Our backyard is long but not deep so we don't have tons of room so it is nice to go somewhere that has a bit more running room. From the time my husband and I were married, we have enjoyed playing Frisbee. I stink at throwing (and catching) Frisbees and so my husband always tries to teach me how to do it.
