Annmarie Gianni Skin Care ~ Sun Love Natural Sun Protection Review

I can hardly get the words out of my mouth. Spring is finally HERE! It looks like the snow has stopped flying and the first real signs of spring have shown themselves. I have a few dandelions popping up in the backyard and everything is turning green again! Trees are beginning to bud and the air is getting warmer. Winter definitely overstayed it's welcome this year but summer is so close and I am so excited about being able to be out and about again in warm weather! This summer will be soooo much fun for a number of reasons. First and foremost, we are expecting a baby on August 1st!! YAY! The second reason is that we have installed central air and so I won't die from the heat during this summer pregnancy! I would say that those two reasons alone are enough reason to celebrate the summer. :) The summer sun is wonderful, but can be pretty unforgiving when it comes to our skin. I am always using sunscreen on myself and the children but some days, it seems like nothing keeps t...

Your Official Summer Sunburn Treatment: SunBurnt Gel and First°Degree Burn Cream {Review}

Wow...it is August 13th and still, we are enjoying summer. Summer brings so many fun, outdoor activities; swimming, boating, picnics and barbecues, playing at the park, visiting local fairs and carnivals and just being outside. The only unpleasant thing about summer is the fact that the sun's rays are so hot and dangerous, I have to slather my children with sunscreen before doing anything outside. Their tender skin gets burnt so easily. I remember one FEBRUARY we took a trip to Florida and my daughter was 6 months old at the time. We spent a good amount of time outside and she got soooo burnt. I don't remember now why she was burnt so badly...I think I just forgot to put sunscreen on her. So sad. She didn't complain too much but I sure did feel bad about it. Then, there was the time we went to an Airshow and I got a bad case of sun poisoning. I was burnt badly and felt like I had a fever. It was horrible. I was very appreciative for sunburn remedies that I had laying a...

Sister Sky Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

***GIVEAWAY CLOSED*** As many of you are probably already aware, my daughter has and still suffers from eczema. Lately, it has not been bad but during the summer months it gets pretty awful for her. Eczema is a skin condition that plagues people of all ages, but mysteriously, it can be discovered in infants and can continue right up through toddler hood. When my daughter first started showing signs of this, I though it was ringworm. But, the pediatrician informed me that it was in fact eczema. I thought that I could just treat it once and it would go away...how I wish that was the case. She is now three and still suffers from mild cases every now and again and I am still searching for the product that will relieve her symptoms without nasty chemicals and additives. (Which is not an easy task). Recently, while browsing the Internet I ran across a company called Sister Sky and lo and behold, one of their products is a lotion specially formulated for eczema! I knew I had to c...
