I can hardly get the words out of my mouth. Spring is finally HERE! It looks like the snow has stopped flying and the first real signs of spring have shown themselves. I have a few dandelions popping up in the backyard and everything is turning green again! Trees are beginning to bud and the air is getting warmer. Winter definitely overstayed it's welcome this year but summer is so close and I am so excited about being able to be out and about again in warm weather! This summer will be soooo much fun for a number of reasons. First and foremost, we are expecting a baby on August 1st!! YAY! The second reason is that we have installed central air and so I won't die from the heat during this summer pregnancy! Wow...it is August 13th and still, we are enjoying summer. Summer brings so many fun, outdoor activities; swimming, boating, picnics and barbecues, playing at the park, visiting local fairs and carnivals and just being outside. The only unpleasant thing about summer is the fact that the sun's rays are so hot and dangerous, I have to slather my children with sunscreen before doing anything outside. Their tender skin gets burnt so easily. I remember one FEBRUARY we took a trip to Florida and my daughter was 6 months old at the time. We spent a good amount of time outside and she got soooo burnt. ***GIVEAWAY CLOSED*** As many of you are probably already aware, my daughter has and still suffers from eczema. Lately, it has not been bad but during the summer months it gets pretty awful for her. Eczema is a skin condition that plagues people of all ages, but mysteriously, it can be discovered in infants and can continue right up through toddler hood.
