Summer time calls for lots of cooling off. Being that we live up north we do see alot of cold weather. However, as soon as June rolls around the heat is on! I LOVE living here though and really do enjoy the seasons changing. My children are just getting to an age where they enjoy going into their kiddie pool. I usually let the water sit out in the sun for a day so it is not so cold for them. Jacob just turned one and believe me...hose water would take his breath away!!! Today Jacob blew out a diaper so it was a perfect time for the pool. Don't worry though, I cleaned him up before letting him skinny-dip. :) Hannah still isn't too sure of sprinklers though...their little pool has a hose hook-up so that they can have a little sprinkler going while they are swimming. Anytime that sprinkler is on, she is VERY careful not to get into it!!!
Well, today I am going to take you on a little tour of one of my newest, favorite online stores, Plow & Hearth. This company offers you some really great decorating, dining and accessorizing ideas for your home, garden and patio. I was really shocked at the selection and ranges of prices when I first visited their store...wow, everything is so diverse and homey there!
Plow & Hearth was founded back in 1980 in Madison, Virginia. Since that time, they have expanded their stores to several states...Maryland, North Carolina and various locations in Virginia itself. Here is a bit more about the company and their commitment to provide eco-friendly products...

I really didn't know that they carried eco-friendly and sustainable products until I read the above. This made me fall in love with this company even more. I began to look more closely at their products and their details. I was really happy to see that yes, they do have a very diverse and earth friendly selection of products!

So, for this review I was sent Spinning Spiral Sprinkler. It looked like a really fun product that my children and other would enjoy...not to mention a great tool for watering my garden!
Upon opening the box I immediately sighed with relief. It was an EASY TO ASSEMBLE product. Yeah! All I had to do was snip some zip ties and twist two pieces of copper coated metal together. Voila! My sprinkler was assembled!
It has a set of 4 metal spikes that are attached at the bottom and you push those into the ground to stabilize the sprinkler. Then, you attach your hose to the hose adapter on the bottom of the sprinkler.
I positioned the sprinkler in the center of my vegetable garden, as it was due for a good watering after some hot days. As soon as I turned it on, the force of the water caused it to start spinning and when I adjusted the water pressure on the hose, it would spin faster or slower and spray farther. It was SO NEAT to watch!
Not only does it work very well, it also looks really pretty too. Very decorative! I can also move it to other parts of the yard and use it for the children to play in. It is not very tall (41" tall), but works really well.

So, in my opinion...Plow & Hearth is a really nice company! I enjoyed browsing the site and looking at all the products they have to offer. Because of what they have to offer, you can find something to use in every room of your house. The Spinning Spiral Sprinkler is an amazing product that I will be using in my garden and yard for the rest of the summer!!
