Wholly Guacamole Review & Giveaway

3:15 PM

I am a huge fan of salsa. Often, when hubby and I play Scrabble we like to snack on chips and salsa because it is something that both of us love. Now that I am nursing, I don't get to enjoy salsa as much as I would like to because it really throws Isaac's tummy off...so that is a bummer. Every now and then though, I splurge and indulge in just a tad of salsa and chips. Yesterday (the 4th of July), I enjoyed just a small bit of chips and salsa and oh my...I miss it soo much! The temperatures soared over 90 degrees and salsa was such a refreshing treat for me - and for my hubby too!

So, I am pretty sure that many of you have already heard of Wholly Guacamole. If you haven't, then you are in for a huge treat today! I am going to tell you all about this fabulous company and introduce you to their tasty and healthy foods!

Wholly Guacamole is just that. Wholesome and healthy guacamole AND salsa! This company produces some of the tastiest and most unique snacking options I have ever seen. Before I continue, let me share a bit more information about them...

Wholly Guacamole®, Wholly Salsa® and Wholly Queso® are part of the Fresherized Foods® Family.

Back in 1989 our founder, restaurant owner, Don Bowden, incorporated AvoMex when he wanted to produce fresh-tasting pre-packaged guacamole for his chain of Mexican restaurants. His commitment to quality, taste and texture is what led him to find HPP food processing.

HPP is what allows us to make fresh, all-natural guacamole and salsa without the use of heat, chemicals, additives or preservatives. Instead it uses high pressure water to kill We call this the Fresherized® Process. The first guacamole HPP machine could only pressurize seven pounds of guacamole at a time. In 2000 we introduced machines that can handle 400-pound batches. Today we are the largest company in the world using HPP and regarded as an innovator of equipment and technology in this field.

In 2003, Avo Classic Guacamole changed its name to Wholly Guacamole®.

Though the name on the box changed, the commitment to quality and safety of the product has not.

In 2008 we introduce Wholly Salsa to our product line. Wholly Queso was added in 2010 which is made with real cheese and is chef inspired for great consistency and flavor.

Wholly brand products are available to customers in 11,000 retail locations across the country and Wholly Guacamole® alone boasts $100 million in sales plus partnerships with most national restaurant chains across the U.S.

We’re proud to be innovators in our industry and America’s number one guacamole in the produce section and we don’t plan to give up those titles any time soon. Every day we’re researching new product trends that are convenient and easy to use. We are also working with food service experts to develop new solutions and products that guarantee food safety and quality.

What an incredible process! You can be certain that when you purchase Wholly Guacamole that you are getting a truly fresh product! Before I was introduced to this company, I had never heard of them. Am I ever glad to have met them and tried their salsas and guacamole!!
For this review I was sent a cooler packed with Wholly Salsa and Wholly Guacamole! It was a huge surprise for me to get it because I totally forgot that it was coming..ha ha! It came on a very warm day and so it was a nice treat for hubby and I after our children were in bed for the night. Here is what my cooler contained...
Wholly Salsa
Classic Mild, Classic Medium, Classic Hot, Guacamole & Spicy Pico, Roasted Tomato, Avocado Verde, Red Pepper Mango and Pineapple.
Wholly Guacamole
100 Calorie Snack Packs (Classic & Spicy)  and All Natural Avocado.

I was also given a handy bag clip that reads "Friends Don't Let Friends Double Dip". HA HA!! That is soo true!
We dove right into the salsa and hubby was anxious to try the Classic Hot. He said it was VERY spicy and he enjoyed it very much. I am not a fan of incredibly spicy foods, so I went with the brand new flavor...Pineapple! Recently I have come to love fruit based salsas and this one is fantastic. I seriously could eat it all the time. The refreshing flavor of pineapple bursts out in each bite and there is just a hint of spiciness. It was PERFECT for me!
My second favorite was the very tasty and medium-hot Roasted Tomato. I have tried this flavor before in other brands of salsa but this one from Wholly Guacamole was my favorite out of all the others that I have had. It is very flavorful and the much smoother than other salsas from Wholly Guacamole. Smooth or chunky, it is ALL good to me!
As far as guacamole goes, I am working on developing a taste for it. It was never something that I ate growing up so it is totally new for me. My preference right now is for the classic flavor as it is mild and tastes really fresh! Through my experience with Wholly Guacamole, I have really been educated on the benefits of eating avocados and how good they are for you. This definitely makes me want to love it more!

Wholly Guacamole can be purchased at most major grocery stores. There is a store locator found on Wholly Guacamole's website and you can access that by clicking HERE

So, in  my opinion...I LOVE Wholly Guacamole salsa. It is probably some of the freshest and best tasting salsa that I have ever had. The flavors are very pronounced and robust...definitely not bland or boring! I would really recommend this company to anyone-especially if you are looking for a tasty and healthy snack alternative. Avocados pack a healthy punch so check out Wholly Guacamole today for more information on how you can become healthier this summer!
Wholly Guacamole has offered to give away a cooler of goodies, similar to the one I received, to one of YOU! The retail value of this prize pack is $50. Here are your entry options...
