My daughter has been actively and seriously brushing her teeth for over a year now. When she was really young, I would help brush her teeth but it wasn't a priority at the time. Now that she is bigger, she has officially had her very first dental appointment this past spring and is brushing all the time. Her teeth are beautiful, but she will need braces when she is older due to a huge overbite. Her little brother has been brushing his teeth right along side of her for over a year and as much as he dislikes it, I know it is important for him. Well, as I have mentioned in previous posts, this coming Friday is my brother's wedding. Ahh! I can't believe my little brother is getting married. Needless to say, our entire family is so incredibly excited and I am especially excited because I get to dress my babies up in the most adorable outfits and I am going to do Hannah's hair in rag rollers! I forgot to tell all of you that my four year old just went for her very first dental appointment!! I think I was more nervous than she was, actually. Hannah is to an age where she is ready for a lot of "firsts" and we have been trying to tackle those needful appointments before she turns 5.
