PetCakes Review and Giveaway

Aren't cupcakes wonderful? I mean...you can have a nice single serving of cake without feeling guilty about eating a WHOLE cake! They keep your tummy and waistline happy. I have some different sort of cupcakes to introduce to you today and they are really fun! (But not for eating!)

PetCakes are ADORABLE collectible plush animals that are made by Well Made Toy Company. When I first saw them, I thought they were super cute and was invisioning my daughter playing with them.

The idea behind PetCakes is a cupcake, as well as a cute animal. Remember Cupcake Dolls? I had several when I was growing up and they were loads of fun. My sisters and I LOVED to play with them. Well, PetCakes take on a similar idea but are totally soft and squishy. They are completely plush!
I was sent four PetCakes for this review and I have to tell you...they are SO cute! Upon opening my box, I was shocked at how big they are. I was expecting a small toy...definitely not what came in the box. My box contained four PetCakes and their names are:


I would have to say that Blueberry Buddy is my absolute favorite! He is a Pug and is a stinkin' cute one at that! When I first saw him, all I saw were two little eyes peeking out of his "wrapper". My son tends to favor Coco Coconut as she has really curly and lovely hair for him to chew on (he is 7 months and is all about texture!). My daughter likes them all and has to fight mommy and brother to play with Coco and Blueberry! :)
What is really cute about these PetCakes is that each of them has a story that comes with them. The story tells what kind of puppy they are and what they love to do...which is really fun. It kind of gives your child a little personalization for their PetCake.

(Yes, I know my livingroom looks like a day care...pardon the mess...) :)
PetCakes can be used for alot of different things...a reward incentive, something cute to look at, good grade award, potty training award (yes, I have a potty trainer in my house), Valentine's Day gift, stocking stuffer, etc. My daughter ended up giving one of our PetCakes to her little friend, who doesn't have a lot of toys...which was very sweet. She was THRILLED with it! :)
So, in my opinion...PetCakes are an adoreable idea. They create hours of fun play time for the little ones in your home and are super cute to just look at! My daughter is really taken with her new "friends" and loves to play with them. I am also taken with them and show them off to whoever walks into my house! They are really cute!!! :)
