COVERGIRL + Olay = GORGEOUSNESS!!

I have recently discovered the really wonderful makeup, foundations and lip glosses that COVERGIRL has and really love everything that I have tried! Because I have fair skin, I sometimes like to wear a bit of foundation to even out and darken it a bit...not too much though, just enough to mellow it out a bit. Just an FYI...I DON'T EVER want to look like this "train wreck" (for lack of a better word), A.K.A Liza Minnelli. WHAT is she thinking??? Oh my. There are definitely some color issues here folks. Just sayin'...LOL!

Ok. On to not so scary stuff now. :) COVERGIRL and Olay have teamed up to bring us some fabulous beauty products and they are amazing. I have always love the Olay body washes that I have tried and really trust their softening properties and how they make my skin feel so silky. It is no wonder COVERGIRL has decided to add Olay to their foundation. This new line from COVERGIRL is called Simply Ageless Foundation and it is heavenly!!!

For this review I was sent the Simply Ageless Foundation in the Creamy Natural shade. Choosing my shade is difficult as I am not positive exactly what looks the best on me. I know what I usually use, but I think different products are tinted slightly differently. Yours truly is not an expert so it took me a while to figure out exactly what I needed.

This foundation comes in a really pretty compact container and is swirled really prettily. What you see on the top is actually the bottom of the container...you open the container from the opposite end. It is really clever how they designed it. The application sponge is stored right inside as well, separate from the foundation too.

So, I was a bit nervous when I went to try the Simply Ageless Foundation as I was unsure of the color I picked. It was super smooth and I was able to apply it very easily. The color choice was wonderful too!!! If I could pick again I probably would go one shade darker as this color was a wee bit too light but really, I could not tell that much of a difference!

It smoothed out my complexion and helped even out some of my blemishes. I loved it! Right before Mother's Day I wrote a beauty tip post that spotlighted this wonderful Simply Ageless Foundation. That post will give you some great hints on how to fully take advantage of this product.

So, in my opinion...Simply Ageless Foundation from COVERGIRL and Olay is wonderful! It was such an easy foundation to apply and truly was smooth, silky and very light as well. My skin was soft after using it and the shade was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend this product to you if you are looking to switch up your makeup preference. Try something new and get a really beautiful complexion for summer!
