Are you a person who always comes up with the best ideas when you are in the shower or have your hands submerged in dish water? I am...in fact, I have some pretty good conversations with myself when I am in the shower. I also come up with some really great ideas too...the problem is, by the time I get out of the shower I have forgotten and that drives me crazy!! I also find myself thinking about alot of things when I am doing the dishes. My grocery list, things I need to get done, people I need to call, etc. There is always something going through my head at any given time of the day.

Well, if you are one of those people who always has to have something to write your ideas on, I have a product today that can go ANYWHERE with you...including the shower! The idea for waterproof notepads came from a Shower Thinker who always generated his best ideas and insights in the tranquility and solitude of a nice warm shower.

He began keeping a standard notepad and pencil outside his shower door to capture those ideas. Invariably, they ended up soggy, torn, and oftentimes illegible before he could get them back to his office. He experimented with a variety of waterproof writing apparatuses before his idea evolved into AquaNotes®….a waterproof note pad with paper that could easily be removed from the pad and taken with him to the office or on an errand.

That is SO sweet!! I would love to find a love note in my shower too...how romantic! :) I love the idea that this notepad is waterproof...that makes it totally usable anywhere I go.
So, for this review I was sent an AquaNotes Waterproof Notepad. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical.  How could paper be truly waterproof? Not only that but how was a pencil going to write on a wet surface?? This I would have to see.
This notepad comes with a special pencil (made of Intense Cedar Wood), which is also waterproof. The pencil has a suction cup holder so you can keep it right next to the pad for easy access.
So, instead of putting this notepad in my shower, I placed it right above my kitchen sink. As you can see, it is small enough to fit in the space between my window and sink and yet big enough to write on. I can't tell you how many times I have been washing dishes and have had to dry my hands to write something down. This is soo handy!
The fun part was when I ran water over the notepad and then wrote on it. WOW! This pad is amazing...I was able to write without smudging the writing and without having the paper rip. In fact, the water just rolled off the paper. As you can see above, the water is dripping off the paper...but the paper stayed intact.
Sooo, am I skeptical anymore? Nope. I am totally in love with this notepad. It's hard to believe that a product like this exists and I am so glad to have found AquaNotes! This Christmas, this would make such a great gift for anyone...especially for the deep thinker and ponderer on your list. Anyone could seriously use this. AquaNotes also makes some really fun Aqua FunNotes with games on them for when you are soaking in the tub and need something to do while you are relaxing. So, in my opinion...AquaNotes is a pretty amazing product! I love how I can just take my hands from the dishwater and write on my notepad without having to dry my hands. I also love the idea of having a handy pad and pencil whenever I need it. This is definitely a product that I will endorse and recommend to anyone...great idea and very handy!
