HINT Review

When I worked an outside job, I was constantly teased about how much water I drank. It was teasing in a nice way, but people just couldn't get over how much I LOVED to drink cold water. I usually drank up to 4 liters a day...sometimes more than that. I just couldn't help myself. Soda (or pop...depending on where you are from) never satisfied my thirst when I drank it occasionally, but I usually drank it for the flavor. If you like water and you like flavor, then I have a product to introduce to you today that gives you the best of both worlds!

HINT is premium essence water that is carbonation, preservative, calorie and sweetener free. How about that!?! When I first saw HINT, I thought it looked like a neat beverage as I do enjoy flavored water now and then. Usually though, my flavored water is carbonated so this was a bit different.
HINT was founded in April of 2005 by CEO Kara Goldin, a mother of four and former AOL executive. Her and Theo (her husband) operate HINT,in San Francisco, California and have 22 employees that work for them.

Currently there are 10 delicious flavors of HINT available, with HINT Blackberry now available at Starbucks throughout the United States as well as in Canada. Flavors include Watermelon, Honeydew, Hibiscus, Blackberry, Mango-Grapefruit, Pomegranate-Tangerine, Lime, Raspberry-Lime, Pear, Cucumber and Strawberry Kiwi.
For this review, I was sent six flavors of HINT to try. I was sent:

Watermelon
Raspberry-Lime
Blackberry
Strawberry-Kiwi
Mango-Grapefruit
Pomegranate-Tangerine

My favorite had to be the Mango-Grapefruit. The flavor is very subtle, yet enough so you can taste it. It wasn't overwhelming at all. There also is no nasty after taste...which is sometimes common among flavored water. All of these flavors were very tasty but my favorite was the Mango-Grapefruit. My daughter helped me sample these and she really liked the Strawberry Kiwi. Here she is after trying her sample...My husband really enjoyed this water as well. He said that it tasted really clean and non-sugary. I am always looking for healthy beverages for my family so it is good to know that he enjoys HINT! This seems to be a great alternative to juice as I know that there is often quite a bit of sugar in fruit juices...which my daughter drinks alot.
If you are interested, you can go to HINT's Facebook page and like them there. You can also keep up with their latest tweets on Twitter! There are some great options available for staying up to date with news and product updates with HINT!
So, in my opinion...HINT is a very tasty and refreshing water! I love how the flavor is subtle and you still feel like you are drinking water. This is definitely a great beverage to keep on hand for your children or yourself...I highly recommend it!!!

Prem Soaps Review

I often love to highlight beauty and skin care products here on my blog and have been on the search for some really great and organic beauty companies to feature. When it comes to my skin (as I have said numerous times before) I am choosy as to what I use on it. Our skin really takes a beating...especially when exposed to the weather and indoor elements such as water, heat, cleaners and soaps . Have you noticed that most soaps today...even though they smell great...contain LOADS of chemicals and additives? I have, and honestly-it's scary. Think about it...your skin is like a giant sponge; what goes ON gets absorbed IN. So I think it is important to use only those products that will put goodness in...rather than chemicals. The other day I was searching the Internet for organic kitchen products . Specifically, I was looking for bamboo products, towels, dishes, etc. However, I was NOT prepared to find what I did! Prem Soaps is a little company nestled in Brooklyn, NY that...
