Scandle Candle Review

With Valentine's Day right around the corner I just know you are all looking for unique, practical and romantic gift ideas. This year, maybe it's time to look beyond the chocolate and flowers. Something different is definitely welcome!
Scandle is a truly unique company in that it offers massage oil candles amongst other interesting products. I had never heard of such a thing before. I HAVE heard of massage oil but never associated with a melted candle.

So, what is a massage candle anyway? Scandle's candles double as a candle and as a massage oil. All you do is burn your candle until the surface is covered with melted oil. Then, you just pour a bit on your skin and massage in. That's it! The oil is infused with beautiful fragrance and vitamin E to add softness to your skin. Here's more..

The Scandle Body Massage Candle is a fragrant hand-poured body massage candle that, when burned, melts to create a healthy body massage oil that can be used to enhance the healthy of your skin. Not only, is The Scandle Body Massage Candle healthy for your skin, but it is also healthy for the environment...emitting less soot and toxins into the environment than parrafin candles.

The Scandle Body Massage Candle is perfect as a body moisturizer, warm body massage oil, or as a soothing Vitamin E rich lotion for manicures and pedicures.

Another really wonderful product that Scandle carries is the Sea Soak and Scrub, made of Dead Sea Salt. Dead Sea Salt is WONDERFUL for your skin as it promotes healing, re-hydrates and replenishes tired and worn out skin. This Scrub can be used in tandem with the Scandle Massage Oil Candle as well...just put a bit of the Scrub in your hand, pour a bit of the Scandle Massage Oil on top of it and mix together with your hands. Rinse off and your hands will be soft and silky.

For this review, I was sent a travel sized Shimmer Scandle Candle and Scandle Sea Salt Soak and Scrub...both in the Sugar Kisses scent. The Shimmer Candle is all new and it is sooo lovely! I lit it for the first time last night and watched the wax melt into a beautiful shimmery pool beneath the wick. I also took some of the Scrub and put it into my palm. When the wax was ready (reminder...make sure you let the wax sit a little before pouring onto your skin...I didn't wait and mine was a tad too hot...oops! Ha ha!) I poured it onto the Scrub and massaged onto my skin. It had a think feel to it and really coated my hands well. Oh...and the scent...simply heavenly! It smelled soooooooo good!

The Sugar Kisses scent is exclusively for Valentine's Day too...so get it while you can! Also for Valentine's Day, is Chocolate Dipped Strawberry...which sounds sooo delicious!

So, in my opinion...Scandle offers a VERY unique and different product that will stun and truly enchant your Valentine! I was very happy with my candle and scrub...my skin was very soft and silky and smelled so great when I was done. I very highly recommend Scandle for anyone looking for a truly different massage experience! Make this Valentine's Day one to remember!! :)
