Affordable Home Decor Ideas

I am not a creative person when it comes to decorating my home. I am also not very good at forking out hundreds of dollars when I do become interested in decorating. To me, if you can decorate and stay on a budget, then you have accomplished alot. I think the last time I decorated was when my daughter was born 3 years ago. We had to turn one of our bedrooms into a nursery and I had a blast doing it. My theme was the Classic Winnie the Pooh and I stuck with neutral colors so the nursery would be cute for boy or girl. I truly enjoyed the painting, putting up the border and filling the closet...hard to believe that was three years ago!!

Well, the next room I would love to re-decorate is the living room. Our furniture is old and hubby and I have discussed getting new furniture possibly this year. How exciting!!! We have been looking for sectionals for sale and when I was at become.com, I saw some really nice looking pieces that would fit great in my living room.

When we do decide on a new couch and some recliners, I would love to have some cheap throw pillows that will accent and compliment my furniture. Throw pillows add so much to a room! Currently, I have none. Not one! So, this would definitely be a great addition to my home!

Last but not least, the finer touches that add a great deal of glitz and glamour to any home. How about some cheap vases? I am not talking about tacky vases, but some that look great but don't break the bank. After all, I do have two toddlers in my home and breakable is not the best option for us right now. So, the cheaper the better!

Well, it looks like I have a bit of work ahead of me but it is sooo exciting to think about decorating! It is even more exciting when you look at all the options available to decorate on a budget...it isn't impossible!!

Brought to you by your friends at become.com

We life in NY state so we have four full seasons, our summers can be hot and humid and if you are active, that can be challenging. The other issue that many run into is having a sports drink that can replenish and refresh their system that is gluten free and healthy for them too. Food allergies can limit the choices when it comes to hydration drinks. So, today I am going to introduce you to The Pickle Juice Company . This company specializes in gluten-free sports drinks that will stop muscle cramps in their tracks and keep you hydrated and refreshed no matter what activities you are participating in this summer! Before I continue wi...

Prem Soaps Review

I often love to highlight beauty and skin care products here on my blog and have been on the search for some really great and organic beauty companies to feature. When it comes to my skin (as I have said numerous times before) I am choosy as to what I use on it. Our skin really takes a beating...especially when exposed to the weather and indoor elements such as water, heat, cleaners and soaps . Have you noticed that most soaps today...even though they smell great...contain LOADS of chemicals and additives? I have, and honestly-it's scary. Think about it...your skin is like a giant sponge; what goes ON gets absorbed IN. So I think it is important to use only those products that will put goodness in...rather than chemicals. The other day I was searching the Internet for organic kitchen products . Specifically, I was looking for bamboo products, towels, dishes, etc. However, I was NOT prepared to find what I did! Prem Soaps is a little company nestled in Brooklyn, NY that...
