Gimbal’s Fine Candies Review

If you were to ask my children if they like "treats" they would all say YES and bring you their treat cups to be filled. They are such stinkers when it comes to treats. The only times they get special snacks or treats is when they have done something that really pleases mommy or if they do well in school, music lessons, etc. They got in a bad habit of getting treats daily back over the winter months but we have reigned that in quite a bit now that summer is here. I don't like them eating alot of junk so we tend to try and have healthy snacks but every now and then, we pull out something sweet. Like candy. :) Here in our house, we do not deal with any food allergies . Our children can pretty much eat anything and so we thankfully don't have any issues with gluten, dairy or nut allergies. I know quite a few people who do deal with these awful allergies and so I am always on the lookout for allergy-friendly foods and snacks for them. Gimbal's Fine Candies is a ...

Eco-Products Review

Growing up, my parents always recycled. Cans, bottles, newspapers, etc. they recycled everything that was approved. I remember using paper plates and cups and then tossing them into the trash afterwards because if they were dirty, they could not be recycled. I have to admit that since we have moved into our new house, we haven't yet obtained a recycle bin for our recyclables but if I had one, I would most certainly use it. Using eco-friendly products is not something that I consistently do but something that I try to do when I am able. Obviously, using disposable products is easier because you just throw them into the trash when you are finished with them and you don't have to wash dishes! I like that. :) When it comes to eco-friendly products , there is a fantastic company that I have recently become acquainted with and I wanted to introduce them to you all today. Eco-Products is a company that carries sustainable, disposable products that are made from recycled, plant b...

Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets Review & Giveaway {3 Winners}

Around my house, we do alot of laundry. I am still in the process of finishing up the potty training of my oldest son, who will be 4 in June. He recently decided that he wanted to be a big boy (after months of me trying to get him to potty train) and so we switched from pull-ups to big boy underwear. Well, if you have ever potty trained a child with underwear then you know that you have the potential to go through ALOT of pants and undies. I have been using my washing machine a whole lot more in the past two weeks and although I don't like the extra work, I LOVE that he is potty training and doing so well at it! Purex has once again come out with an outstanding, new product that will not only help my laundry feel soft, but also smell amazing! Good smelling laundry is a MUST around here and Purex has never let me down when it comes to this. 30 days of long lasting Crystals freshness! Who knew that one little sheet could do so much? Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets don’t just r...

Annmarie Gianni Skin Care ~ Sun Love Natural Sun Protection Review

I can hardly get the words out of my mouth. Spring is finally HERE! It looks like the snow has stopped flying and the first real signs of spring have shown themselves. I have a few dandelions popping up in the backyard and everything is turning green again! Trees are beginning to bud and the air is getting warmer. Winter definitely overstayed it's welcome this year but summer is so close and I am so excited about being able to be out and about again in warm weather! This summer will be soooo much fun for a number of reasons. First and foremost, we are expecting a baby on August 1st!! YAY! The second reason is that we have installed central air and so I won't die from the heat during this summer pregnancy! I would say that those two reasons alone are enough reason to celebrate the summer. :) The summer sun is wonderful, but can be pretty unforgiving when it comes to our skin. I am always using sunscreen on myself and the children but some days, it seems like nothing keeps t...
