Mary Kay and Palmers Give That Old-Hollywood Glamour Look to YOU!

Do you have problems with your complexion? Are uneven skin tones and rough, dry patches a problem for you? With summer just around the corner (it's almost 70 degrees here today!) it is time to start working on your celebrity skin so you will be ready for the short-sleeves and flip flops! It is hard to imagine my skin being anything than what it is right now. Pregnancy can really throw you body for a loop and put your skin through a virtual ringer. One of my biggest complaints right now is stretch marks. If you have ever had a baby then you know exactly what I am talking about here. They don't just show up on your belly, they magically appear on your thighs, arms and "other places" as well.

How come I never see stretch marks on celebrities? They always look like they stepped out of a beauty salon with perfect hair, skin and bodies. *sigh*. Well, today, I want to share some products with you that will help you achieve some of the looks that were seen at the Oscars...including smooth skin and gorgeous lips!
Mary Kay has been a long-standing beauty company that has been beautifying women for years. Their products are high-quality and never disappoint. Palmer's is a leader in cocoa butter products for hair and skin and I have to say here that I am a HUGE fan of theirs. I love their lotions, body washes and skin care products. If you love chocolate, then your senses and body will be richly indulged with Palmer's products.

Mary Kay and Palmer's have teamed up today to help women look and feel like a winning beauty, giving them gorgeous combinations of products that will stun anyone!

So, for this review I was sent several products to review and share with you all today! I was sent:

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil
Mary Kay Nourishine Plus Lip Gloss (Cafe au Lait)
Mary Kay Clear Lip Liner

I must say that I was VERY excited about the Lip Gloss. I prefer glosses over lipstick mostly because of the shine factor. Not that I don't like like lipstick, it's just that gloss is more my style. I have never used a lip liner before either so these were the products that I tried first.

The Mary Kay Lip Liner is very simple to use...just open it and twist! The liner is clear and you cannot see it once it is applied so you can wear it with any color. I was not sure what Cafe au Lait would look like in way of gloss color (I usually wear mauve colors) but I was very happy with the color! It is a pinkish beige color...making it look almost nude. I LOVE IT! It applies easily with a brush and stays put for a long time. I think this is a marvelous color on me, don't you?

It goes perfectly with my fair skin tones and adds just enough shine to my lips to satisfy my craving for a gorgeous smile.

Next, I tried the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick. Honestly, I had never heard of this product from Palmer's before. This is really a great product to have on hand as it can be used for multiple things. You can apply it to you lips to help smooth them out and you can also use it for rough, dry skin, marks and blemishes! This truly is a beauty-routine must-have! It seems to work well for me as I have alot of problem areas with my skin and is easy to stuff in my purse or diaper bag when I am on the go.

The Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil is absolutely, positively a pregnant mom's best friend. Like I said before, I have stretch marks and they are SUPER annoying and look awful. After 2 (almost 3) pregnancies, my skin looks like a road map. :)
When I apply this oil to my skin I stop itching and my skin feels so much more silky and elastic. Sometimes stretching feels sooo uncomfortable so having this on hand is a life saver!!! You can also use this when bathing as it enriches and really pampers your skin.

Each of the above-mentioned products are priced differently and so I encourage you to visit Mary Kay and Palmer's to check out prices and to see what else they can offer you in way of unbeatable and luxurious beauty care.
So, in my opinion...Palmer's and Mary Kay really make a great couple. :)  I love how wonderful my skin looks and feels after using each product and I am also a very happy pregnant momma with an itch-free and silky tummy. :) I would definitely recommend these products to anyone looking to achieve a Hollywood look in their own home. Each is reasonably priced and very gorgeous...you'll look great! :)

Disclaimer: I received no monetary compensation for this post. I did receive free Mary Kay and Palmer's products for review purposes from Mary Kay. All quotes and stock photos are from the Mary Kay and Palmer's website and email. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.

The Pickle Juice Company Review

How many of you are super athletic and active during the summer months? I used to be...prior to having children and now, it seems I chase them all around so that counts as something, right? One concern that many athletes and active people have during the summer is hydration and the risk of dehydration, especially if you live in a hot/tropical climate. We life in NY state so we have four full seasons, our summers can be hot and humid and if you are active, that can be challenging. The other issue that many run into is having a sports drink that can replenish and refresh their system that is gluten free and healthy for them too. Food allergies can limit the choices when it comes to hydration drinks. So, today I am going to introduce you to The Pickle Juice Company . This company specializes in gluten-free sports drinks that will stop muscle cramps in their tracks and keep you hydrated and refreshed no matter what activities you are participating in this summer! Before I continue wi...

Carmex Healing Lotion & Healing Cream Review

Because I am a member of the Carmex Blog Squad , I am informed of and privileged to bring you reviews of Carmex's newest products! This is something that I have been doing for awhile and have really grown to love the Carmex brand. The newest products that have been introduced by Carmex are lovely and will definitely impress you as they have me. Because I am a mom, I wash my hands frequently. After diaper changes, before cleaning wounds, bathroom breaks, preparing food...all this requires clean hands. Because I usually apply lotion while I am moving and going from one thing to the next, I do not like a greasy lotion. I HATE applying a cream and having to "dry" my hands for the next half hour. What a perfectly good waste of time that is. So, I was wondering what Carmex would offer me in way of fast and quickly absorbing lotion. Before I continue, here is a bit more about Carmex for those of you who are new to their brand... Carmex® lip balm was invented in 1...

Cafe Press Review

Are any of you married to a computer guy ? Do you lovingly call him a "geek" sometimes? (my hand is raised here...LOL!) My husband is the most wonderful man in the world. He is funny, sincere, loving and VERY handy with the computer. I have issues sometimes with coding and am often heard calling "Honey? Can you come look at my blog? I don't know how to fix this!!!!" And, my charming prince comes to rescue me. My darling is going to be 31 in a week and I am SO excited to be able to celebrate another birthday with him. He also shares a birthday with our daughter which makes the day twice as fun. :) She has been talking about her birthday for WEEKS and cannot wait! This next review item is for him so if you know him (and I am hoping he doesn't read my blog for the next week :/) don't tell him about this!!!!!!!! If you are looking for perfect, unique and personalized gifts for someone special in your life I will tell you that after this post, you...
