Gentle and Effective Digestive Support with Dicon

Thanks to my dad's genetics, I deal with Irritable Bowels. Not to be too personal, I used to suffer from constipation all the time. I remember the pain associated with it and the relief when it finally was over. It is truly an awful health concern that alot of people suffer with today and I have always been on the look out for new remedies for constipation and upset tummies. My babies also suffer from bowel issues and if it is painful for me, what must it feel like to them? I feel so badly when my children are unwell...I also look for remedies for them too.

I wanted to take this post to tell you about a new product I have had the privilege of trying and it is wonderful! Dicon is an herbal supplement that uses Combination Herbal Therapy (CHT) to treat and relieve common stomach and digestive disorders. It is said that it is most effective when taken daily so that it will help to prevent recurring digestive upsets. I am a person who typically does not get stomach aches or ailments, but I do get constipation  which this is also good for treating. Before I continue, here is a bit more about Dicon and how it works...

Dicon is a digestive regulatory supplement that targets and provides relief for episodic stomach upsets, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating and other common gastrointestinal (GI) discomforts.

Dicon’s unique Combination Herbal Therapy (CHT) exact serves to recalibrate the body’s digestive system and has been shown to alleviate symptoms of all episodic stomach complaints. Dicon recalibrates the body’s functions and balances the digestive system. This will help to prevent future stomach upsets and discomforts. In a follow-up survey of subjects who had taken Dicon, continued relief and improvement was reported even after the use of dicon was stopped. While this is an encouraging benefit, daily doses of dicon are recommended for continued and sustained benefit. dicon helps to prevent the recurrence of digestive upsets leaving you more time to enjoy life.

Having never heard of Dicon before, I was anxious to try it but wasn't looking forward to the symptoms that would cause me to take it. Last Wednesday night though, I needed it badly.

So, for this review, I was sent a box of Dicon to try and test out. I wasn't sure how it would work for me because I was unsure of what problem I would have to address with it. Many of you already know that I am a huge fan of taking natural supplements and so it was really nice to know I had this on hand for when I needed it.

These capsules are pretty normal in size when it comes to a capsule. I was really surprised when I read the ingredient list... Artemisia (a plant from the Daisy family) herba-alba Asso aerial parts, Lemon Balm extract aerial parts, Spearmint extract aerial parts and Lemon Verbane extract aerial parts.

I love how this supplement contains lemon and spearmint...these are fantastic herbs with calming properties. Many times, I will drink tea with these ingredients and it helps soothe an upset stomach. Another key bit of information that I discovered when I researched Dicon online was that I can take it while breast feeding my son. I found that not only did it help me with bowel movements, but it also helped my son immensely with his bowel movements too. He has a horrible time with constipation and this actually gave him a big blown-out diaper...the first in a VERY long time. Poor guy...I was so relieved when he filled his diaper!!

So, during church on Wednesday night I began to experience some stomach cramping. It was intermittent but very bothersome and uncomfortable. The whole way home from church, I wondered what was going on and how I managed to get a stomach ache. It didn't feel like constipation, more like bloating and gas. But I had NO idea what had caused it or if that was what it really was. So, I decided to give Dicon a try. It is recommended that you take Dicon with food and so that is what I did. I'm telling you...within 1/2 hour of taking Dicon I felt totally normal again. No lie. It was amazing! No more cramping or discomfort. I fell asleep and slept wonderfully. The next day, I had (not to be gross or anything) wonderful bowel movements but it wasn't diarrhea. THAT was really nice. I am still not sure what triggered my stomach upset but boy was I thankful for the Dicon! It truly worked wonderfully for me and I am going to definitely keep this handy for future bouts of gas and tummy trouble.

Dicon retails for $30 for one box of 30 tablets...which would last you one month if taken daily. I don't think this price is bad at all if you suffer from IBS or other problematic digestive issues.

So, in my opinion...Dicon worked wonderfully for me! I haven't really experienced relief from gas that quickly before. I also love how natural this supplement is and the fact that I was able to take it while breastfeeding was very helpful to both me and my 10 month old. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It is FANTASTIC!!!
