I Love Tax Season!

I have always told my hubby that I love tax season. It really is not as bad as it sounds...I truly do love getting our taxes done because it usually means that we will be getting a nice sum of money back. I am especially excited about this year because we have a new tax deduction in our family (his name is Isaac...LOL!) and that means we will be getting some additional money back. We have never done our taxes on line but there are some fantastic programs out there that can help you do your own taxes! I have never really wanted to be an accountant or mortgage preparer but I have found a top mortgage broker program online that is fantastic. On this website, they also have some really nice tax preparer training as well so if that interests you, you can find all the information you need there.
The other reason I really love going to get our taxes done is because our accountant has known my family and I since I was a child. My father goes to him for his tax needs and now, I am going with my own family! My accountant has really enjoyed seeing our family grow and always compliments us on each new addition. We really do look forward to finding out how much money we will be getting back because it means we can tackle some much-needed house projects and seeing as we just bought a house, there are some projects that  I am very excited to have completed.

So, those are just a few of the reasons I love tax season. I told my husband the other day that it feels like Christmas some years...getting back money is always a nice thing, no matter how much or how little it is. Money is always a nice thing!

This is something that I have been doing for awhile and have really grown to love the Carmex brand. Are any of you married to a computer guy ? Do you lovingly call him a "geek" sometimes? (my hand is raised here...LOL!) My husband is the most wonderful man in the world. He is funny, sincere, loving and VERY handy with the computer. I have issues sometimes with coding and am often heard calling "Honey? Can you come look at my blog? I don't know how to fix this!!!!"
