I have two children and at least one of them is using a sippy cup now. My daughter is 2 and LOVES all of her sippy cups...yes, she has a few! :) As a mom, I am constantly on the look out for new and innovative products for my children. I am especially excited when the product for which I am looking comes from a family/mom/eco friendly company!
In 1998, something seriously miraculous happened. An infant was left on my doorstep, wrapped in a sweatshirt, in dire need of -- everything. I did what I could and saw to it that he received proper medical attention. I later learned that the baby was adopted by a loving family. And while I made the difficult choice to remain anonymous and am not a part of his life, the tragedy in its reality has affected all of the decisions I've made from that point forward, especially regarding the immense role and responsibility a parent has in the health and welfare of their children.
And it is with these things in mind that I decided to create EcoMom and solicited other like-minded people to join me in this pursuit. We started by offering just organic baby food, then we quickly added other products that are authentically good to put in, on, and around children and families. And all that while helping our customers meet other people, sharing the same concerns and values, who care about their families and the planet and think there's a way to do both. Our aim is to to provide a space for conscientious parents to share thoughts, learn other peoples thoughts and opinions, and most importantly, help identify products for purchase, that will be good for baby, family, home and the environment.
EcoMom sent me the Kid Basix Safe Sippy for review. As soon as my two year old saw it, she kept saying "Cup??? Cup???" and reaching for it. I let her use it for a few minutes, then had to break her little heart and tell her that it would be for her brother when he got bigger.

As a child, my parents did the best they could with the information that was available. I think they did an excellent job. EcoMom sent me the Kid Basix Safe Sippy for review. As soon as my two year old saw it, she kept saying "Cup??? Cup???" and reaching for it. I let her use it for a few minutes, then had to break her little heart and tell her that it would be for her brother when he got bigger.

She was definitely in love with it. I can't say that I blame her. It is very colorful, easy to hold and very classy. The one thing that I LOVE about this sippy cup is that it is a NO LEAK sippy when used for that purpose. 
It is a two in one sippy so it can be used with a straw or without. The handles are removeable so it can be used without them if you have a bigger toddler who doesn't need handles. It also comes with a travel plug that prevents fluid from dripping all over the inside of your diaper bag (don't you hate it when that happens?). 
The outside of this sippy cup is a really great, easy to hold sleeve with little nubs so your little one doesn't drop it. That is a really nice feature with this particular sippy cup. 
I was so glad to receive this sippy cup to review...it will definitely come in handy when my son is a little bigger!!
