Freetalk Review

I had no idea that there was a company like this next one out there!! Do you use Skype? I do! I just recently became more involved in Skype as I have some good friends who do not live in the area, and I miss them TERRIBLY. Because they have Skype, we are able to chat back and forth like they are sitting right in the room. It is for this reason that I truly love Skype.

I have a webcam, but it is an old one. It works, but I could do better. This is where this next company comes in!

Meet Freetalk! I have never heard of Freetalk before but am so happy to be able to know about them now! Freetalk is a company that provides all your acessories that are needed for your Skype communication. They have headsets (regular and wireless), web cams and connectors that can connect you to make Skype phone calls from any phone in your office!

I like the fact that Freetalk's products are innovative and different...something that you don't see everyday.

Oh yes, I have a new buddy...a Buddy Cam that is! Freetalk sent me a Blue Freetalk Buddy Cam for review and he is cuuuuuuuuuuuute! (Don't tell my hubby...ha ha!) He is such a friendly face and he is flexible and very unique in design. You can bend his legs and arms to fit wherever! I have a laptop so it isn't always easy to rig up my webcam so I can be seen. But my new Buddy Cam is great!

He peeks over the top of my laptop and keeps an eye on me...hey, someone has to!!! :) Setup of the Buddy Cam is simple...just plug in and go! No hassle, no software to install...just plug into the USB port and he is ready to show your face to your friends! I was a bit skeptical at first at how easy I was TOLD it was going to be to hook up. But when I plugged the little guy in, he worked immediately! I can even take my picture with him!!! (Not that I have a great mug, but hey-good to know that this camera takes pictures.) The video that I was shooting looked great and I was very impressed with the quality. (The resolution is 1.3 mega pixels) These Buddy Cams come in green and pink colors as well so if you don't like blue, you have options.

Freetalk has a blog to which they post great and informative articles and they also have a newsletter that you can subscribe to on their home page. Contacting them is a breeze and they are great to work with!So, in my opinion, Freetalk really offers some great products. Like I said before, I had never heard of them before but definitely recommend their products to you! Great service, great product and FINALLY---fun Skype accessories!
