On This Day Of Thanks...

***HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!***

I figured that today, I would take a step back from my "normal" blogging here and just put up a quick post to commemorate this day of thanks. Sometimes, there is just so much to be thankful for that we really do forget to SAY thank you. So, here is my list...
  • I am thankful first and foremost for my salvation...without Christ, my life is nothing.
  • I am thankful for my husband...he is so very patient, loving and kind. He is a wonderful father to our children and a very gentle leader in our home.
  • I am thankful for my 2 sisters and 3 brothers...they are all so very special to me!!!
  • I am thankful for my parents, who lovingly raised me to be the person I am today.
  • I am thankful for the love of my church...what an awesome support they are to our family!
  • I am thankful for this country...it has gone down hill so badly, yet we still have so much that other countries do not!
  • I am thankful that I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my stomach.
  • I am thankful for my children...they are such little blessings and miracles in my life!!!
  • I am thankful for God's grace...it is so sufficient and sustaining when I cannot see to find my way through my trials!!
  • I am thankful that my husband has a good job in these days of economic hardship.
So, there you have it! On this day of thanks, I am thankful...I am grateful and I am BLESSED! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)

Wholly Guacamole Review and Giveaway

***GIVEAWAY CLOSED*** Here in our home, we are big time snackers. My husband always says "Time to eat again!" right before he goes to bed...it's tradition!!! So, off to bed he goes carrying a plate of some type of snack. His favorite foods are usually hot foods to "warm up" his belly before dozing off for the night. HOW he enjoys this I don't know. Are any of you married to a computer guy ? Do you lovingly call him a "geek" sometimes? (my hand is raised here...LOL!) My husband is the most wonderful man in the world. He is funny, sincere, loving and VERY handy with the computer. I have issues sometimes with coding and am often heard calling "Honey? Can you come look at my blog? I don't know how to fix this!!!!" And, my charming prince comes to rescue me. My darling is going to be 31 in a week and I am SO excited to be able to celebrate another birthday with him.
