Orkin "Mouse in a House" Game & Giveaway

4:04 AM

Ohhhh mice. I hate mice. When we first moved into our house, we had mice but I didn't know it at first. Here's my crazy story. I woke up one morning and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast. I grabbed an unopened bag of cinnamon raisin bagels and got a plate out of the cupboard. As I went to open the bag, I noticed that there was a hole in the bottom of the bag but it didn't look like a hole big enough to get a bagel out of. I immediately accused my husband of opening the wrong end of the bag and thought to myself, "Why doesn't he pay attention to which end is the correct end!" Upon further investigation, I noticed that several of the bagels near the hole were chewed up...and immediately, I was disgusted. Mice. The thought of them scampering across my kitchen counters was repulsive enough but when I thought of them getting into my food, I was SO grossed out. I went out and bought mice poison immediately and prayed that those pesky rodents would be gone soon. It wasn't long until I noticed that things were calming down and I knew that my rodent problem was getting under control. I have had mice run across my living room floor and have seen them in my basement too...argh. It would be great to be TOTALLY rid of them but until I find out where they are getting in, it will probably be a problem until the day I die.

Fall has arrived, and cooler weather has come with it. Whether or not you know it, your warm house is an open invitation to unwanted guests looking for a cozy winter vacation: rodents. Each fall, rodents migrate from their outdoor “summer home” to the warmth, food and shelter of their “winter timeshare” – your house!

Being human has its perks, like having a cozy house to enjoy during the winter, but imagine having to survive as a mouse? Try your luck by playing “Mouse in a House” – a choose-your-own-adventure game that puts you in the shoes of a rodent looking to survive the upcoming harsh winter season – try your best to stay alive and see how long you last!
