Original Sprout Review

My babies absolutely LOVE their bath time. Usually, to protect their skin I only bathe them 2 times a week...unless they have been playing outside and are exceptionally dirty. My son gets more frequent baths due to blowouts that he has...a wipe just doesn't cut it when he is that dirty!! :) If you are someone that loves to bathe their baby frequently, then you are going to want to use products on them that are gentle and guaranteed to not irritate their skin. ESPECIALLY if you have a newborn. Their skin is sooo sensitive and soft! (I love it!!) :)

Today I have a company to introduce to you that carries some really fantastic baby care products and they are sooo wonderful!! I have always heard about cancer-causing chemicals but I guess I had never realized that they can be found in my beauty products! It is even scarier that these chemicals can also be found in CHILDREN'S products, too! That is one of the reasons I love Original Sprout's products...they are free and clear of those nasty and harmful things.

So, I was thrilled to receive a bottle of Miracle Detangler, Scrumptious Baby Cream and Natural Shampoo for this review! I am always curious to see how products work, smell and feel on my babies so Original Sprout was about to undergo my scrutiny. :)

Bath time arrived the other night and I decided to try out all of the products on my daughter. Hannah has super sensitive skin and suffers from pretty nasty eczema. I used to think it was baby eczema, but it has continued to be a problem and she is past her baby years. So, I am pretty positive that this is something we will be dealing with on a permanent basis.

First, I tried out the Natural Shampoo. This shampoo is free of parabens, formaldehyde, gluten, soy, dairy and a whole bunch of other nastiness. The smell is wonderful...and it froths up really nicely in her hair. Rinsing it out was no problem at all...a few dumps of water and she was good to go!

After bath time was over and we went to get dressed, the next Original Sprout product I tried was the Scrumptious Baby Cream. Soft and silky, this cream smoothed onto her skin very nicely. It also smelled really nice and she didn't complain about any pain from her eczema. So, it is very gentle. If a cream is too harsh it hurts her and she HATES using it. She definitely loved to help apply this!

I think my favorite product from Original Sprout is the Miracle Detangler. I remember as a child having long hair and getting so many knots and tangles in it. It was very difficult and traumatic getting my hair combed out. I don't want that for my daughter!! Her hair is not curly at all, but naturally, after getting out of the tub and towel drying her hair, it gets snarly. So, I was excited to try out this detangler.

It worked very well on her hair...after spraying it on I just combed through and my oh my! That comb just glided through her hair! There were no cries or discomfort after this bath!! :)

I love how shiny and smooth her hair turned out. Doesn't it look great??? I also noticed that several days after, her hair still smelled like the shampoo and detangler...which was really nice.

Prices on these products are a bit high for me, but I love the Miracle Detangler so much...I may have to splurge and purchase it! Here are the prices for the products I received:

So, in my opinion...Original Sprout is a luxurious and wonderful company! I love all the products that I was sent...especially the Miracle Detangler. My daughter's skin looks great after using the cream and the shampoo made her hair look and smell so clean! I would recommend this company to anyone looking to try out some different, family-friendly bath products that are safe, clean and effective!
