Today I am going to introduce a brand new product line from COVERGIRL that is sure to become a favorite of yours! As a BzzAgent I was offered this fabulous opportunity and am thrilled to be able to share it with all of my readers today! The COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Collection is brand new, like I said in my intro. So what makes this line stand out above others in it's class? Well, the fact that it is made with natural ingredients is a great place to start! Not only that, but also the fact that COVERGIRL NatureLuxe creates flawless and perfect coverage. That is something that I look for when it comes to foundation.
For this review, I was sent the COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Liquid Silk Foundation and the COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Gloss Balm.
The first product that I tried was the Gloss Balm. I received the Pinot color, kind of a blush mauve color...one of my favorite lip colors! It is sooo similar to lipstick but the difference is amazing. I applied it before heading out to church and on the way to church I was sipping on my water bottle, licking my lips and really putting this Gloss Balm to the test. When I got home 2 hours later, the Balm was still there! I was impressed!
Usually I have to re-apply my lip gloss several times when I am out and about so I was glad that this stayed in place! This Gloss Balm also kept my lips hydrated and smooth...thanks to the mango and shea butter that it contains.
Then, last night I thought I would try applying some of the Liquid Silk Foundation. The color that I chose was Aspen (I was nervous about the color because I was worried it would be too dark/light). This product is definitely amazing!!! Like I said before, I don't usually use makeup...let alone foundation. I found out a long time ago that most foundations are heavy and cakey. So I was a little reluctant to try out COVERGIRL's NatureLuxe foundation.
My first impression upon opening the tube was that it squeezed out very easily and was almost runny. It is SUPER light and airy feeling...not heavy at all. This Liquid Silk Foundation contains hints of jojoba, cucumber water and rosehip extracts which makes it smell SO good! I felt like I was applying hand lotion to my skin. When I washed it off, it came off effortlessly and there was hardly any residue on my washcloth. That is what I call LIGHT foundation! Here is a head shot of your's truly sporting my new "look" (with the gloss as well).
What I really loved about this makeup was that it evened out my skin better than any other foundation I have tried before. It also is SUPER natural looking...which is my style!
The cost of these products is reasonable and I would definitely purchase them again. The NatureLuxe Liquid Silk Foundation retails at $11.99 and the NatureLuxe Gloss Balm retails for $6.49. Not bad for the look you get! :)

So, in my opinion...the COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Collection is superb! I am loving the smooth and silky foundation. It is PERFECT for my skin. The Gloss Balm is also very nice too. It really kept my lips moist, hydrated and smooth. These products smell great and the natural ingredients just add so much to them! Thanks COVERGIRL for keeping me covered! :)
