Swanson Health Products Review

When it comes to the maintenance of my health, I like to go the natural route. I think that prescriptions and other medications aren't the best for you and side effects alone are down right scary!! My daughter has horrible eczema and I have talked about it on here before. We have tried a whole multitude of remedies for her but I haven't found something that really REALLY does the trick yet. Eczema can come and go so about the time I think I have it beat, it shows up again. And because it is itchy, her skin gets so torn up from her scratching. The only thing that helps her to be more comfortable is Cortisone based creams...which are steroids. I DO NOT like steroids. At. All. So that is why I am constantly on a mission to find something natural that will help.

Recently I discovered Swanson Health Products...a web-based company that is focused on providing natural-based remedies and products from all different types of brands!

What I love about Swanson Health Products is the selection. When I first came to Swanson's website, I thought I would see one page of vitamins. But, as I dug deeper into page after page...I quickly realized that there was so much more to Swanson Health Products! Swanson carries many different national brands as well as their own specialty line of products, which is so nice.

For this review, I was given $25 worth of products of my choice...and boy did I have a hard time choosing what I liked the best! :) So I chose to review:

~Grandpa's Moisturizing Shea Butter Soap With Lavender & Vanilla

~Burt's Bees Hand Repair Kit

I was anxious to try the Eczederm Rescue on Hannah's eczema so immediately after her bath the other night, I applied this cream. It is kind of gross looking (reminds me of chicken poop...ha ha!). After opening it and seeing how watery it was, I decided to shake the tube up so the cream would mix.

This cream is brown in color and smells like dried herbs. It is from a company called Peaceful Mountain and contains only certified organic herbs. I applied this cream onto Hannah's skin and the next day it looked a lot less red and inflamed. So, I am continuing to use it in hopes that it will work indefinitely! Eczederm Rescue retails at $14.95 per 1 oz tube, but Swanson Health Products sells it for only $7.27!

Then, it was on to Grandpa's Moisturizing Shea Butter Soap. This soap smells AWESOME! I am a huge fan of Shea Butter because of it's healing and soothing properties so when I saw that Swanson carried a soap with Shea butter in it, I was excited! The Lavender and Vanilla makes the scent of this soap so comforting! This soap retails for $4.08, but you can get it at Swanson Health Products for just $1.81!!!!!

Lastly, I picked out the Burt's Bees Hand Repair Kit. As a mom, my hands take a beating. I am constantly washing dishes and washing my hands so my hands need some pampering sometimes. This kit is sooo wonderful! It contains a Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream to help soften and nourish your cuticles, Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream (which can also be used for your elbows and feet!), Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream and a pair of cotton gloves for intense hand treatment.

I think my favorite product in this kit is the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream. It smells great and is so smooth and silky. Wonderful product! This hand kit from Burt's Bees retails at $12.99 but is available through Swanson Health Products for only $9.90!

Swanson Health Products has so many other brands from which to choose...and they are all VERY well known. You can check out their complete list HERE to see if they carry your favorite brand. The prices are amazingly low...I was pretty surprised!

So, in my opinion...Swanson Health Products is definitely a great company! I think it is so great that they have so many popular and well-known brands in one place. This makes shopping so convenient! I am very happy with the products that I received for this review and am even more excited about the prices. I highly recommend Swanson Health Products to you...give them a try!
