Making Father's Day Memorable with Mary Kay {GIVEAWAY}

I cannot believe that Father's Day is on the doorstep! If you are like me, you are going to get your man a special card (one from the children and one from me) and special gifts. I love giving my hubby gifts, no matter what the occasion is. While I know he doesn't really put much stock into these "Hallmark Holidays", I enjoy making the day special for him. Usually, I try to prepare a special dinner for him and then present him with his gifts and cards. This year, we are not going to be home on Father's Day, but I am planning to celebrate with him within the week following. I sure do love the man who is the father to our children...what a great dad he is, and what attention he deserves!!

One thing that has always been hard is trying to decide WHAT to get him in way of a Father's Day gift. He isn't a fussy person, but does have certain needs. So, for this review I was sent three products from the MKMen line and I have the privilege of sharing them with you today. I was sent:

MKMen Face Bar
MKMen Shave Foam
MKMen Cooling After-Shave Gel

It was a bit tricky to catch my husband when he was getting ready to shave (as he usually shaves before work and I am still in bed/taking care of the baby at that time) but when I did, I presented him with these products to try.

The MKMen Face Bar is really different. You use it like any other bar of soap, but it is specifically formulated for the face and neck. This bar is grey in color and has a very mild scent. My husband is not crazy about using bar soap on his face but he definitely knows the importance of it! All you do is work the soap into a lather and massage onto the face and neck, then rinse. This soap will help to reduce the signs of aging and will soften the skin.

Next, he tried the MKMen Shave Foam. I personally LOVE the scent of this product as it smells fresh and very manly.

As my hubby applied the foam onto his face, he commented on how it felt very soft and smooth...unlike other brands that he has tried. His shave turned out very nice and his skin was definitely smooth afterwards. He has very coarse facial hair so having his skin moisturized is important.

Lastly, he tried the MKMen Cooling After-Shave Gel. This gel is meant to soothe the skin and protect against razor irritation. Again, the scent is amazing. Very refreshing and clean smelling. To be perfectly honest, my husband really dislikes after-shave because it usually burns. This was no exception. He didn't comment on it feeling cool on his skin and as soon as it touched his skin, it burned. I think this may be because he is not used to using after-shave and it takes some getting used to. Anyway, I liked the product, but he wasn't crazy about it.

Each of these products from the MKMen's Skin Care Line retails for different prices, ranging from $10 to $14. With prices this affordable, Father's Day won't break the bank this year! Definitely a plus for me!

So, in my opinion...the MKMen's Skin Care products are pretty amazing. My husband enjoyed trying each one and his shave looks and smells great! I really love the quality of Mary Kay products and these are no exception...fantastic products, great results and perfect pricing!
