Listerine Smart Rinse Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

6:21 AM

***GIVEAWAY CLOSED***

My baby girl just turned three this month and I am completely floored at how quickly she has grown. When you go through those first few months of chaos and confusion, you wonder when it will all end. Then, you turn around and your baby is 3!!! Whew. She has been brushing her teeth since she has been about 2 and LOVES it. Brushing our teeth is the highlight of our bedtime routine and as a parent, this really makes me happy! I have never had major oral care issues...just a few cavities here and there. Hubby has had some major dental work in his life time though and remembers every dental visit! I do need to start thinking about taking Hannah to the dentist soon, as I want her to have healthy teeth. Starting oral care with children is VITAL to a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums!!
So, I recently became aware of a product that Listerine carries for kids and it is called Listerine Smart Rinse Anti Cavity Fluoride Rinse. This really interested me as it is geared specifically towards my child and is made especially with children in mind!

Here is a bit more about this rinse and what it does...

*A Post -brush mouth rinse especially designed for kids to help protect teeth against cavities and clean the mouth beyond brushing.
*Primary benefit is the fluoride offered - an important ingredient to help provide extra cavity protection.
*Kills germs that cause bad breath.
*Works like a magnet to attract the particles that brushing may leave behind and tints the particles - leaving proof in the sink of a cleaner mouth.

This mouth rinse sounded great to me and I was thrilled when given the opportunity to review this fantastic product!
So, for this review I was sent a bottle of Listerine Smart Rinse Anticavity Fluoride Rinse in the new flavor, Bubble Blast. How fun!
My daughter was a bit hesitant to try this out (don't ask me why...she usually jumps at the opportunity to try something fun and new!) and I was eager to see her response. I have taught her to spit out toothpaste and such so I wasn't worried about her swallowing her. The bottle does say to ask a dentist for children under age 6 though. But because Hannah is good at spitting stuff out, I wasn't worried. Use your own judgement or ask your doctor if you are unsure.
I had to demonstrate for her first so she could see that yes, it was yummy and no, it doesn't hurt! After she saw me use it once (and it was REALLY tasty!!), she grew very excited! I love how this has a measuring cup built into it so that you can get just the right amount. After I put some into a medicine cup, I gave it to her to try. I think she swallowed a little bit but really, she did great. She loved it! The flavor is very kid-friendly and the color is nice too!
Hannah is an awesome tooth-brusher and I am confident that when we go to the dentist for our first visit that we will get a good report!

This product from Listerine can be purchased from mass-merchandise stores, and also at food and drug stores. Listerine Smart Rinse retails anywhere from $3.00 to $4.99. Prices do vary by store so check your local stores for prices.

So, in my opinion...Listerine Smart Rinse is a wonderful product! I can definitely recommend it as I have personally tried it and as a mom, do see the benefits of using this with my children. I love how it tastes, looks and works. It is also very affordable and easy to find as well. Check your stores today and see what else Listerine has for you!
I have a bottle of the Listerine Smart Rinse and also a package of Reach Total Care Dental Floss to giveaway to one of my readers! 8. Well, it's not really something that I learned, but I love the idea of having a reward chart in the bathroom for brushing! As a mom of 5 young boys, it's hard for me to remember to remind them to brush! Maybe if I have a reward chart and stickers they will do better at remembering on their own!

  94. Brushing, flossing, and rinsing are all rhythmic activities. Play music to help kids enjoy oral care routines. On average, brushing should last two minutes and rinsing 60 seconds. Together these activities last the length of a typical song.
