Simple, Quick Pain Relief with BENGAY® Zero Degrees

12:30 AM

You have probably already read about how we have recently purchased a new home. Hopefully, we will be moving mid-January (things may be a bit slow around here but no worries...I have a few surprises up my sleeves to keep things interesting!) and I am NOT looking forward to moving my family in the middle of winter. I live in a very wintry part of New York and it gets very cold, icy and snowy in January. If I had my choice, we would have moved several months ago. But anyway, I am trying to mentally prepare for the winter and our move and recently, I became aware of a new product from BENGAY that will help with the sore body I am bound to get after our move. I like to think I am in shape because I carry around my 18 pound son most of the day but when you start working muscles that typically don't get used, they get sore.
Bengay has introduced BENGAY® Zero Degrees...which is a pain-relief gel stick that can be stored in the freezer! Talk about ultimate pain relief...BENGAY has always worked well for me and this new product sounded so great to me. Here is a bit more about BENGAY...

BENGAY® Brand launched its original formula in 1898. With over 100 years of history, BENGAY® Brand has established a legacy of trust grounded in safety and efficacy. Many BENGAY® Brand products are formulated with a “vanishing scent” that starts to disappear minutes after it is applied. This means you could, for example, apply some BENGAY® cream or gel when you are getting ready in the morning, and by the time you arrive at work or school, the scent would be virtually gone.

I always remember thinking that BENGAY was for "old people" but honestly, that is no longer the case...I have decided that "old" is over 65. Hee hee. Seriously though, it has helped me through so many tough times with my muscles especially since I have been a mother.
So, for this review I was thrilled to receive BENGAY® Zero Degrees. The packaging looks like something you would find in the food aisle but be not deceived...it is totally a health-related product!
This particular BENGAY product packaging is nothing like anything they carry. It looks like deodorant but it is total pain relief in stick form. Just be sure to let your family members know that it is NOT deodorant. :)
Before you use it for the first time, it is recommended that you put the entire stick into the freezer for about 2 hours. This will add to the cool feeling of the gel. The gel will not freeze either...it is formulated to stay in gel form even though it has been in the freezer. Once it is chilled, go ahead and click the dial on the bottom (like you would your deodorant) and apply to your sore areas. I have had a stiff neck for the past few days and I have been using this BENGAY® Zero Degrees. It works wonderfully...I experience cool and relaxing pain relief that typically lasts for about 2 hours. I love how you can use this particular BENGAY product and not get any on your hands. I don't mind the smell but sometimes I don't like getting it on my hands because I am always holding my baby and don't want to get it on him. So, the stick form is really REALLY nice.
BENGAY® Zero Degrees retails for about $14 and can be purchased at mass retailers and drug stores including Walgreens, CVS and also RiteAid.

So, in my opinion...BENGAY Zero Degrees is a fantastic product! I love how it relieves my tough muscle tightness and pain and also how the scent disappears. That is probably the best part. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone...especially all you fitness buffs who are going to be working out over this upcoming winter season. This is a top-of-the-line pain reliever that will give you exactly what you need for your toughest muscle pain.

  1. I used to think old was when you hit 50 :)
I have seen this while shopping and wasn't sure if it had the strong smell of the Bengay my parents used to use. I am happy to hear from the review it doesn't. Hubby is getting a few leg aches and I think I will pick this up and have him give it try, the applicator will make it easier to apply,
