BLUEBERY STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE

2 C. flour
3/4 C. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Combine.
Then, Add:
1/2 C. milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
Beat well.
Fold in:
1 C. Fresh or frozen blueberries (I sometimes add more because I love alot of blueberries)
1 C. Chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Spread in greased 9 inch square baking pan. (Batter will be stiff) In another bowl, prepare streusel.

Streusel:
1/2 C. sugar
1/3 C. flour
1/4 C. cold butter or margarine.

Combine sugar and flour. Cut in butter/margarine until crumbly.
Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

***Note*** For a larger cake (13X9 size pan) double all ingredients and bake for one hour.
These are blueberries that we picked ourselves last summer. They are HUGE and end up being so juicy.
Preparing the streusel. I uses a pastry cutter as it is quick at cutting the butter.
Baking in the oven!
All done! Melts in your mouth!

I do have a sister who is crazy about lip balms too, so I make sure to pass on some of my goodies to her. My daughter is also really fond of these little sticks of balm too...and LOVES to put on like two or three inches of it when she is given the chance! As a Carmex Blog Squad Member , I am privileged to bring you new and exciting products that Carmex has recently released and they are NEVER a disappointment! So, this next review is brought to you by Carmex and is featuring their brand new Vanilla Twist and Lime Twist Ultra Moisturizing Lip Balms ! Carmex has been one of my favorite brands to use lately mainly because I love the tingly sensation that is present after using their products. Carmex Healing Lotion & Healing Cream Review

Because I am a member of the Carmex Blog Squad , I am informed of and privileged to bring you reviews of Carmex's newest products! This is something that I have been doing for awhile and have really grown to love the Carmex brand. The newest products that have been introduced by Carmex are lovely and will definitely impress you as they have me. Because I am a mom, I wash my hands frequently. After diaper changes, before cleaning wounds, bathroom breaks, preparing food...all this requires clean hands. Because I usually apply lotion while I am moving and going from one thing to the next, I do not like a greasy lotion. I HATE applying a cream and having to "dry" my hands for the next half hour. What a perfectly good waste of time that is. So, I was wondering what Carmex would offer me in way of fast and quickly absorbing lotion. Before I continue, here is a bit more about Carmex for those of you who are new to their brand... Carmex® lip balm was invented in 1...

Community Coffee Review

In my house, I am the only coffee drinker. This means that I can choose the type (caffeinated or decaf), flavor and strength of my coffee. I fell in love with coffee when I was in high school and have never looked back. To me, it is relaxing to sip on a cup in the morning and to enjoy a cup while visiting with friends. Holding onto a mug also gives me something to do with my hands instead of flapping them around. Ha ha! Well, we have just ended a wonderful holiday season and I am sure many of you enjoyed coffee in fun and delicious seasonal flavors. I also love how there are special liquid coffee creamers that take on a holiday feel as well...eggnog, hazelnut and peppermint to name a few. YUM! Well, just because the holidays are over, doesn't mean you cannot enjoy a taste of them now! I am sure many of you have heard of Community Coffee and their delicious variety of coffees. Well, I have known about them for some time now but have never tried their brand before. I was ...
