Holiday Gift Guide ~ Badger Balm Lip Tint & Shimmer Review

I can't think of a better stocking stuffer than lip balm. It is so compact and thin...fits in any stocking perfectly. My one sister LOVES getting lip balm any time of the year and I have been getting her lip balms for the past several years. She is in the insurance industry and is constantly meeting with clients. This means that she is in and out of the weather, and her lips get very dry. She needs her lips to feel moisturized and also, they need to look nice. My sister does not wear makeup so lip balms are perfect for her.

Today, I am going to introduce you to a company that makes organic body care products that are good for you and for your skin. One thing that I absolutely LOVE about Badger Balm is their Babies at Work program. As a breastfeeding mom, I know how important it is to bond with a new baby immediately after birth and if a mother is going back to work, breastfeeding can take a back burner. Ultimately, it can severely effect the mother's milk supply. So, Badger Balm allows a new mom to bring her baby to work with her. She is allowed to work 30 hours per week, with two hours each day to care for her baby. Whether she needs to nurse, diaper, or comfort her baby, mom is able to take care of her own child while at work. I LOVE THIS!! Talk about a family-friendly company...wow! :)

So, for this review I was sent a Lip Tint & Shimmer. I have never used any of Badger Balm's products until this review and so I was excited to see how it worked for me. This is a natural mineral color and shimmer product that contains aloe vera, and cocoa butter...among other wonderful ingredients.

This particular Lip Tint & Shimmer is the Garnet and Opal color and is gorgeous. When I first saw the color of the garnet I thought it would be too dark for me. However, when I applied it, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a perfect color for me! I typically use a mauve colored lip gloss so this was pretty close to the color I wear.

The Opal is gorgeous as well. It contains a bit of subtle shimmer and actually, works well when applied over the garnet. I am not sure if that is the way you are supposed to use it, but I did and loved the look! As you can see, the look is very natural. It does not look like I am wearing a heavy lipstick at all...it truly is a tint.

So, in my opinion...Badger Balm is an amazing company. I love their Babies at Work program...I have never heard of a company doing that I think it is fantastic!! Their Lip Tint & Shimmer is perfect. I love how great it looks on me and how soft and supple my lips feel after using it. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Wholly Guacamole Review and Giveaway
