GRIPSTIC Review

With all the snacking we do around here I tend to have a collection of chip, pretzels and cracker bags laying around. What really bugs me is the fact that so many of these products don't come with re-closeable bags. How do companies expect you to keep your snacks fresh??? So, I usually resort to using bag clips, rubber bands, clothes pins and whatever else I find lying around to close my bags. It gets annoying because even those don't keep my snacks crunchy!

Well, today all my frustrations have ended! I have discovered The GRIPSTIC!!! What is a GRIPSTIC, you may ask? Well, this product is simply a plastic stick that closes and seals your snack bags...without any hassle!

To be honest, when I first heard about this product I thought "Yeah, right. Another wonderful product that doesn't work". Boy was I in for a surprise. :)

For this review I was sent a package of 3 assorted GRIPSTICS. Before I go any farther I would like to say that the instructions should say that the GRIPSTIC does NOT come apart. Everything stays intact. I was trying to take mine apart because the instructions said to "Fold and crease the open end of bag. Place the yellow guide under the fold". So naturally, I tried to dis-assemble my GRIPSTIC and place the yellow guide under the fold. LOL! Well, don't do that as it will not work out so well.

Once I figured out what I needed to do to make the GRIPSTIC work properly I was HOOKED. It slid onto my snack bags so simply and effortlessly!

These are really great because they come in different sizes and colors. So you can use them for bags of candy, coffee, chips, crackers, pretzels, cookies, and the list goes on and on! I am thinking of purchasing a bunch of these for Christmas gifts. Because of the slim package design I could very easily fit one of these into a stocking!

Other perks to using The GRIPSTIC is that it saves space in your kitchen drawers and you can use them in other areas of your home besides the kitchen! Think office, living room, bedroom, etc. The options are endless!

The cost of GRIPSTIC is amazingly affordable and you can spend anywhere from $2.99 for a 2 pack to $19.94 for a 14 pack. You can purchase them at major chain retailers such as Albertsons, Bed Bath & Beyond, Giant, Stop & Shop, Kroger, Safeway, Publix and Winn Dixie. So, options are available.

So, in my opinion...The GRIPSTIC is an amazing product! I am loving the three that I received and am really looking forward to having some fresher snacks on hand! I love how easy it is to use them and how they look great as well. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone...especially if you are looking for a revolutionary gift for that really hard to buy person on your Christmas list (no, it is not too early to start shopping...Christmas comes way to quickly!!).
