Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care Review & Giveaway {3 Winners}

 

Recently, my four year old has become very interested in helping with chores. If I am making a meal in the kitchen, she is right there on a chair wanting to help. If I am cleaning or folding laundry, she wants to do something to help. I sure do appreciate her willingness and the fact that she wants to be a part of everything I do. The other day I was cleaning the bathroom and she wanted to help. So, I set her to work cleaning the toilet and instructed her carefully on how to wipe down all the surfaces and wash her hands after she was done. She did an amazing job and was so proud of herself! After she finished the toilet, I showed her how to clean the sink and again, she did a great job. Someday, I know she will be able to do the job completely by herself but for now, I am going to help her learn by watching and doing small jobs herself.

Since we are talking about cleaning the bathroom, I have yet another Soft Scrub review to share with you all today and we are going to target that least favorite room to clean in your house...the bathroom.  Better yet, we are going to target that piece of porcelain that EVERYONE hates to clean...the potty.

Yep, I am going to introduce you to a brand new product from Soft Scrub that will keep your toilet sparkling and leave your bathroom smelling clean and fresh! Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care is the latest and greatest from Soft Scrub and it is a product that cleans your toilet so you don't have to!!

For this review I was sent Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care in the Alpine Fresh scent to try and see what I thought of it. My first reaction upon opening the box was how fragrant it was. You can really smell the fresh pine scent in this product.

My second reaction was "Oh boy, these look like balls and my children are going to want to play with these!" No joke, my kids LOVE balls and if it wasn't for the plastic casing that these are in, the balls would probably be rolling all over my house right about now.

So, the way this works is you unfold the plastic hanger and place onto the toilet bowl rim. This was where I was not impressed. The hanger system seems flimsy and didn't want to stay in place at first. It doesn't attach well to the rim of my toilet well at all and is not the greatest design. Then, you need to adjust where the hanger sits so the water flows through the balls. This was another problem. No matter where I put it in my toilet, the water didn't seem to really flow through the balls that well. Not sure why, but this just didn't function the way I thought it should. The last concern I had with the Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care is that it looks like a toy. I have 3 small children in the house-one is potty trained and the other is learning. When they see this, they automatically want to touch it and because I don't have my eyes on them 100% of the time, I don't trust them with this at all. Maybe something like this could be designed to fit inside of the toilet tank itself?

Other than those concerns, this soft scrub 4-in-1 toilet care works WONDERFULLY!! My bathroom has never smelled better. There is no odor of urine or other strange smells and the toilet just looks clean. This 4-in-1 Toilet Care cleans your toilet, prevents future buildup, fights toilet ring and freshens for up to 4 weeks! I love having a clean smelling bathroom and this really does the trick. You can find this new product from Soft Scrub at Walmart and it retails for less than $2.00! Also, it comes in a Sapphire Waters scent which does not have a bleach in it.

So, in my opinion...the cleaning and freshening power of Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care is amazing! My bathroom smells so great now that I have this cleaner in my toilet. The design seems cheap and the functionality is a bit off for me but other than that, I love this new product from Soft Scrub. If you have children, my only recommendation is that you use caution as this does appeal to children in looks and you might find them playing in the potty on occasion. :) Just sayin'.
