Graco Swivi Seat High Chair Review

I became a mother in 2008 for the very first time. During my pregnancy, I remember how excited I was to go set up my baby registry and pick out things for my new baby. Being a first time mom can be so overwhelming and stressful, it can be easy to get lost in all of the gadgets and gizmos that involve a new baby. My baby showers were amazing. I think I had three in total. Everything I received was perfect and I truly felt prepared for my little one when she arrived. Now I am a mom to four little ones and as the years have passed, all my once-new items are now well used. My high chair is worn out and I don't even have my original pack and play. Everything I have has come in handy for each baby and I love getting out my stuff when a new baby comes along. It brings back such wonderful memories. One company that I am a HUGE fan of when it comes to baby gear is Graco. I currently own a Graco swing, a Graco infant car seat and all my toddler car seats are Graco branded as well. If s...

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard Nearby Napper Review

Being a busy mom of four is not an easy task. My children keep me hopping from sun up to sun down and there are some days that I wish there were three of me. I just don't seem to have enough hands. When all three of my older children were babies, I always ALWAYS had a pack 'n play nearby. I never had a fancy one with all the bells and whistles, but just having the play yard was enough at the time. Pack and plays are the new version of play pens. Remember those? My mom had one and it was so handy, she used it all the time. When I registered for baby items for my first baby I made certain I had a Pack 'n Play on my registry. I knew for a fact that it would come in handy and boy was I right! I would wheel that pack and play all over my house. It was in the kitchen, my bedroom and my livingroom...anywhere I was, baby was nearby within view. My first baby was very attached to me (all of them were, actually) and had to see me all the time so a pack and play was a no-brainer. ...

Kidorable Review

Well, we are shortly going to be rounding the corner from spring into summer. But, because it is still April I am not counting on really gorgeous weather for a while yet. We still have some chilly, rainy and windy days that keep us indoors but once in awhile, we are blessed with warmer temperatures . My children LOVE to be outside and because I am so very pregnant right now, I just sit in a lawn chair and watch them play. My daughter, who is 3 1/2 is especially excited to play outside because she is getting to an age where she is very independent and loves to do things on her own. Because the weather is so unpredictable, I never really know what we are doing from day to day. If it is nice outside, then we are out. If it is crummy, then we are in. One day, I let her walk to the mailbox with me in the rain and she loved it! She had an umbrella and felt so special to be in the rain. Remember those days as a kid? I do...and oh, what a treat it was to be outside splashing in puddles on...

Check Out Kidorable's Product Improvements and Price Changes! PLUS Umbrella Review

Kidorable is a huge favorite around here. Whenever we get a new Kidorable item in the house, my children fight over it and I end up having to put it away for a few days. Yes, it is that bad. However, each child now has their own Kidorable item so there is not near as much fighting as there used to be. :) I was recently made aware of some fun changes taking place over at Kidorable and wanted to share these new improvements with you all today. The design team at Kidorable is always busy looking for ways to make their adorable products better for us. They have tackled many different items and I wanted to give you a brief update as to what they have been doing. Here is a brief summary of the changes, including price changes... Purex PowerShot Detergent Review

We are a family of six people now, and as you can probably imagine, I do alot of laundry during any given week. I typically break up my loads by kids laundry and my husband's and my clothes. It is just easier when it comes to sorting, washing, folding and putting away. Today alone, I did four loads of laundry and that was everything but the kid's clothes. I am used to doing alot of laundry though, I grew up in a family of 8 so I am well versed in large amounts of clothes. Maybe that is why I don't mind doing laundry today. Actually, I love doing laundry. Call me crazy...you won't be the first. :) Doing alot of laundry means I go through alot of laundry detergent and let me tell you, having an EFFECTIVE detergent is half the battle. Dirt just seems to find my children and sometimes, the messes are extra-ordinary. Purex has been a long time favorite of mine and I have used the Purex brand for several years now. It has been the most reasonable (cost wise) and has pro...
